BTET notification will be released soon by Bihar School Education board (BSEB). BTET is conducted for – Paper I & Paper II. Paper I is for candidates opting to teach Classes I & V (Primary Teachers) and Paper-II is for Classes VI & VIII (Higher-Primary Teachers). Qualifying BTET is the basic criterion to apply for the vacancies for teaching jobs in different government schools in Bihar.

BTET Eligibility

Age: Candidates are required to be in the age bracket of 21 to 35 years.

Educational Qualification: the basic educational qualification is a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.  Educational qualification for Paper I ad Paper II is different.

BTET Application

Candidates willing to apply for BTET need to fill BTET application form online; while filling application forms, candidates have to follow the steps give below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Bihar board, biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in

Step 2: Click on “Bihar Teachers Eligibility Test (BTET) 2021”

Step 3: Enter all details required for the registration 

Step 4: Upload Photograph and signature

Step 5: Pay BTET application fee

Step 6: Submit & Save the confirmation page for future use

BTET exam pattern for Paper I and Paper II are different, each exam contains 150 questions and total marks allotted for each paper is 150. Get all details of the papers below:

BTET Exam Stages

BTET exam is conducted in two parts, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates appearing for classes I to V and Paper II is for classes VI to VII. There will be 150 questions in each paper and composite time for each paper is two and a half hours. Questions are drafted in objective or MCQ format. Qualifying percentage for each paper is 50%.

The exact entry requirements may differ according to the choice of course. However, Pitt State demands the following requirements from prospective overseas applicants applying for undergraduate programs:

  • Completed online application along with $60 = INR 4996* application fee;
  • Official high school transcripts;
  • Academic Requirements:

    • High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma; OR
    • International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post secondary institution (college/university)
    • U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work)
