IBPS PO Application Form 2024: How to Apply Online Here

IBPS PO application form 2024 will be released in August 2024. Candidates need to pay the application fees online which are INR 850 for General and OBC categories and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWBD candidates. IBPS PO application process comprises steps such as registration, uploading of scanned photograph and signature, filling the detailed application form, previewing the application form and payment of application fees. Candidates who have graduation degree can apply for IBPS PO exam. There are several stages of IBPS PO application process. To apply for the exam, candidates need to first register by entering the required details. After registration, candidates can fill the detailed application form, upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, fill the detailed application form, fee payment and final submission.

IBPS PO application form needs to be filled online only. While filling the application form, candidates need to upload the scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration. The specifications for uploading these documents are given below.

Signature

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with a black ink pen
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels
• The size of the file should be between 10 kb to 20 kb 

Left thumb impression

• The file should be in jpg/jpeg
• The dimension should be 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI
• The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
• The file size should be 20 kb to 50 kb

Handwritten declaration

• The handwritten declaration should be written on white paper with black ink.
• The file should be in jpg/jpeg
• The dimension should be in 800 x 400 pixels in 200 DPI 
• The file size should be 50 kb to 100 kb

Photograph

• Photograph must be a recent passport-style colour picture
• The preferred dimension should be 200 x 230 pixels
• Size of file should be between 20 kb to 50 kb 

Applicants can take print of the IBPS PO application form after the Mains exam. The link to reprint the application form is made available on the official website. To reprint the application form, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. Candidates need to show the printout of their application forms during interview. The link to take the printout of the application form will remain active within specified time frame. Candidates should keep the printout of the application form till the completion of the selection process. Candidates need to fill IBPS PO application form online. It is generally not advisable to provide false or misleading information on any official application form, including the IBPS PO application form. If the date of passing entered on the form is different from the real one, it could potentially be considered as providing false information and could lead to disqualification from the application process. IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their shift timings. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Travelling Allowance is not given to candidates in order to reach the IBPS PO exam centre. Candidates should go to the exam centre at their own expense. Candidates should bring ball-point pen, blue ink stamp pad and glue to the exam centre. Sheets of paper are provided which can be used for rough work or taking down the question number you would like to review at the end of the test before submitting your answers. After the test is over candidates must submit these sheets of paper by putting them in the designated drop box before leaving the venue. Candidates must write their registration number and roll no. on the rough sheets.

IBPS PO handwritten declaration is a text which candidates need to write in their own handwriting. By uploading handwritten declaration candidates agree to the fact that the details provided in the application form are correct and valid. The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate's hand writing and in English only. If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. The handwritten declaration should not be written in Capital Letters.
