IBPS PO recruitment 2024 started with the release of official notification. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the official advertisement for IBPS PO exam 2024 on August 1 , 2024. The IBPS extended the last date to apply for the IBPS PO 2024 to August 28, 2024. IBPS PO recruitment is conducted for selection to the posts of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee in the participating public sector banks in India. IBPS PO 2024 recruitment comprises prelims, mains and interview. The final allotment of candidates is done based on mains exam and interview. The initial in-hand salary package offered to an IBPS Probationary Officer is INR 52,000 to 55,000 with dearness allowances, special allowances, HRA, and other perks. Q:   What is IBPS PO Educational Qualification?

IBPS PO educational qualification is a Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the government. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess valid marksheet/degree Certificate that they are graduate on the day they register and indicates the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registration online. All educational mentioned by the examination authority should be from a university/institution/board recognised by government. Of India/approved by government/approved by government. Yes, there are sectional timings in IBPS PO exam. In prelims exam, candidates get 20 minutes to solve each section. In Mains exam, to solve English section, candidates get 40 minutes. The duration to attempt Data Interpretation and Analysis section and Reasoning and Computer Aptitude section, candidates get 45 minutes and 60 minutes respectively. The time duration allotted for General Awareness section is 35 minutes. To solve the descriptive paper, candidates get 30 minutes. Yes, candidates selected for the post of IBPS PO will be on probation for two years. During probation, the performance of candidates is assessed. They need to undergo training in the various branches. On successful completion of training, candidates are confirmed to the position of Probationary Officers. During the probation period, candidates are trained on various banking services. They are also required to undergo certain banking courses. IBPS PO Recruitment Salary

The initial IBPS PO salary of selected candidates is INR 52,000 to 55,000.  The IBPS PO gross salary is around INR 57,000 and after a deduction, the net in hand salary remains around INR 52,000 to 55,000. The basic salary after 7 Years is INR 30,560. Also, the basic IBPS PO salary after 7 + 2 Years is INR 32,850 and the basic salary after 7 + 2 + 7 Years is INR 42,020. (as per the 10th Bipartite settlement). The basic IBPS PO salary is INR 36,000.
