KARTET exam is held once a year. Candidates want to score well in the exam must be ready with a KARTET preparation strategy. 1. Syllabus Completion:

The first and foremost task for a KARTET aspirant is to complete the syllabus. KARTET syllabus for paper I has five subjects, Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Science. On the other hand, paper II has Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics or Science or Social Science. Candidates must read all topics given in the syllabus.  Besides, candidates need to have a clear idea about KARTET exam pattern.

2.    Prepare Self-study Notes

Make your own study notes for KARTET preparation. Making self-notes helps to understand the topics ad also you can remember things on your own way. You can use them to strengthen your concept and also to revise the topics. Besides, making short notes and one-liner are very much helpful in revision and to remember the topics. With the help of these notes, candidates will be able to revise more topics in less time.

3.   Attempt Mock Tests

Attempting KARTET mock tests or practicing KARTET previous years' papers are very important for your preparation. Mock test or sample papers help candidates to be familiar with the exam pattern and also they help in understanding one’s preparedness before the exam. Candidates can practice from books and also from online sources to have a stronghold on the subjects. Aim to practice at least one mock test for two weeks before the exam, it will certainly improve your performance a lot.

4.    Stay Calm before the Exam

It is very important to stay calm before the exam. Anxiety or stress may have a detrimental effect on your health and on your overall performance. Try mediation and yoga, eat light food and drink plenty of fluids. Also, keep your mind calm during the examination as stress may lead to poor performance in the exam. 

5.   Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should follow all the guidelines mentioned in the KARTET admit card properly. On the day of the exam, candidates must be in their best state of mind, be stress-free and confident. Carry all essential items to the exam hall including printed admit card and other important documents. Co-operate with the exam centre officials so that the entire process can go smoothly. Also, follow all COVID-19 related guidelines such as wearing mask, maintaining social distancing, sanitizing hands etc.
