Rajasthan Police Constable Exam will be held in multiple stages, candidates have to pass all the stages to secure a position in the final merit list. Rajasthan Police Constable Exam pattern 2024

According to criteria set by regulatory authority, Rajasthan Police Constable Exam is going to be conducted in the following Stages:

Part 1: Written Test

This is the first stage of Rajasthan Police Constable Exam. The duration of the test is 2 hours. Those who have applied for the exam must appear for this stage to get call for the next stages. Find the specifications of Rajasthan Police Constable written test in the table given below:

  • The result of the written test will be published on the Rajasthan police website which is police.rajasthan.gov.in and also on the notice boards in the offices of superintendents of Police or Commandants or other concerning appointing authorities.
  • Regulatory body will release result of the written exam having names/roll number of the candidates five times the number of vacancies.

Part 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who secure qualifying marks in written exam, will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). These tests are qualifying in nature, however failing to prove themselves efficient in these tests will lead to disqualification. Find the pattern of the tests below:

PART 4: COMBINED SELECT LIST

Names of the candidates will appear in the final select list in descending order of marks. The list will be prepared by combing marks secured by the candidates in all the stages mentioned above.

Extra Marks for Special Qualification

As per the official notification, candidates holding NCC certificate, Home guards and Police related diplomas will get extra marks during final evaluation. Check the image below for details: 

An amendment has been made recently on the special marks given to the candidates with extra qualifications. As per the amendment, candidates holding MA or MSc in Criminology or MSc in Cybersecurity or post-graduation degree in any police administration related course will be awarded five marks in place of just MA or MSc in Criminology, Cybersecurity or related subjects.
