RBI Grade B Cutoff 2024: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) released RBI Grade B cut off 2024 for Phase 1 exam on October 1, 2024. The exam of RBI Grade B 2024 was conducted on September 8, 2024. RBI Grade B cut off is announced category-wise and state-wise for different sections and overall marks. The cut off is announced a few days after the declaration of RBI Grade B result. Candidates qualifying the Phase 1 exam of RBI Grade B exam are called for Phase 2. RBI Grade B cut off is calculated based on the normalisation of marks. RBI Grade B cutoff marks are released along with the scorecard in PDF form. The cutoff is released for individual sections and categories. Phase 1 is the screening stage and the marks obtained in this stage are not considered for the final merit list. However, candidates need to meet RBI Grade B cut off of this stage to proceed for the further rounds of selection. Types of RBI Grade B Cut off
RBI basically announces two types of cut off marks for RBI Grade B exam. Candidates are required to secure the following types of cut off marks in the exam:
RBI Grade B Overall Cut off: The overall cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to the exam. The overall cut off marks for the prelims exam are calculated out of 200 marks. The overall cut off for mains exam is calculated out of 300 marks. The overall cut off marks for the final selection is calculated out of 375 marks (Phase 2 and Interview).
RBI Grade B Sectional Cut off: The sectional cut off marks are calculated out of the total marks allotted to each section. Candidates are required to secure the sectional cut off marks in the prelims exam.

RBI Grade B cut off for Phase I is decided out of 200 marks for General post. The cut off for this stage is decided out of 100 marks for DEPR/DSIM posts. Candidates securing the cut off marks separately in each test and in the aggregate are called for the Phase II exam.

RBI Grade B Cut off 2024 for Phase II
The Phase II exam is conducted for candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of RBI Grade B cut off of Phase I. This phase consists of three papers for the General post and two papers for DEPR/DSIM. RBI Grade B cut off for Phase II for General Post is the aggregate marks secured in Paper I, II, and III which is calculated out of 300 marks. The cut off for Phase II for DEPR/DSIM is calculated out of 200 marks. RBI Grade B cut off for Phase II is released after the completion of the selection process.

RBI Grade B exam pattern is such that it is divided into Phase I, II, and Interview. The Phase 1 comprises subjects such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the exam are 200. The duration of the test is 120 minutes. The language of the question paper is English and Hindi. Phase II comprises Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues, Paper-II: English (Writing Skills) and Paper-III: Finance and Management. The Phase 2 exam carries 300 marks. The duration of Paper I and III are 120 minutes (30 minutes for the objective test and 90 minutes for the descriptive test) while Paper-II is held for 90 minutes. All papers of Phase II, except the English Language, are set in English and Hindi. The interview carries 75 marks.
