SBI PO Application Form 2024-25: State Bank of India (SBI) released SBI PO application form 2024-25 on December 27, 2024. The last date to fill the application form is January 16, 2025. Along with the application form, the examination authority has released the formats for various certificates. The application form was released to select candidates for the post of Probationary Officers/Management Trainee.

SBI PO 2024-25 apply online link was activated on the official website-sbi.co.in. Any graduate candidate between 21 and 30 years can apply for SBI PO 2024-25. This year, SBI provided the facility to withdraw SBI PO application form 2024-25. Candidates who are not willing to appear for the exam after filling the application form can withdraw the same. The application fee is INR 750 for General and OBC candidates.SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment. Step 2: Uploading the images 

Applicants had to upload their scanned photographs and signatures as per the format prescribed by SBI. The specifications for uploading the photograph and signature are given below:

  • Candidates need to ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb

  • Click on the respective 'Upload Photograph/Signature' link

Step 3: Filling the detailed SBI PO application form 

In the SBI PO application form, candidates need to fill in the following details:

Basic details: In this part of SBI PO application form, candidates need to enter details such as the circle, state, official language, category, nationality, centre for preliminary and mains exams, etc.

Personal details: Here, candidates need to enter their date of birth, gender, father's name, and mother's name, address, etc.

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to enter the details of Graduation, Postgraduation, professional qualification, and other qualifications

Work Experience: Candidates need to enter their total years of work experience

Step 4: Preview

After entering the details, candidates can preview the duly filled SBI PO application form. Candidates can edit the details entered in the application form before final submission. Candidates are allowed to edit the details in the application form three times only within the application deadline. Once the application is filled, candidates are required to submit the same. No change or editing of details is allowed.

If the online transaction of SBI PO application fee is not successfully completed, candidates are required to register again and make payment online. SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

SBI PO eligibility criteria is prescribed by the State Bank of India. SBI PO eligibility comprises details such as age limit, educational qualification, nationality and number of attempts. According to SBI PO eligibility, the age of candidates should be between 21 and 30 years. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation. Such candidates need to provide the proof of having completed the graduation. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) can also apply for the exam.

Q:   Is 60% necessary for SBI PO?

A:

It is not necessary to secure 60 per cent in graduation inorder to be eligible for SBI PO exam. For the SBI PO eligibility percentage, candidates with less than 60% in their graduation are also eligible to take the SBI PO exam. The State Bank of India prescribes no minimum percentage in Graduation for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam. Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.

Although, The preliminary exam, main exam, and psychometric test (group discussion/interview) are the three stages that make up the SBI PO selection process. Q:   In how many shifts SBI PO exam is conducted?

A:

The prelims exam of SBI PO is conducted in four shifts while the Mains exam is conducted in two shifts. SBI PO prelims shift timings are 9 AM to 10 AM, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm and 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. SBI PO Mains exam timings are 2 pm to 3 pm and 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The details regarding the shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their exam slots. The exam timings for prelims and mains exam are given below.

Yes, candidates are required to choose their preferred exam city while filling SBI PO application form. While filling the application form, candidates can select only one exam centre each for the prelims and Mains exams. Candidates are allotted exam centre as per the choices entered by them. The details regarding the exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. The steps to select the IBPS PO exam centres are given below:

  • Register for the exam by entering the required details
  • Upload the scanned photograph and signature

Candidates can choose one SBI PO exam city each for prelims and Mains exams. Candidates are required to enter their preferences of exam cities during application. Q:   What if I submit more than one SBI PO application form?

A:
In case candidates submit more than one SBI PO application form 2023, the examination authority accepts the application which is the latest and completed. Based on the latest application form, candidates are issued admit card for the exam. Candidates need to download their admit cards online by logging with the required credentials. Candidates need to apply online for the exam. They are not required to send the hard copy of the application form. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form are generated, which may be printed for record. If the online transaction is not successfully completed, please register again and make payment online. There is also a provision to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage.
