Ambedkar University Delhi to introduce new UG and PG courses this session
Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) is all set to offer eight new courses in the 2017-2018 session. These new courses will be introduced at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in vocational category.
In addition to this, there will be four new areas in MPhil and PhD to choose from in the upcoming session.
According to reports, the new MPhil and PhD courses have already been approved by the statutory bodies, while the academic council is still to give a go ahead to the UG and PG courses. Admission schedule for these new programmes will be announced post the approval.
The eight new courses being offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate level will increase the intake capacity by over 350 seats.
The new programmes to be offered on undergraduate level are:
- Banking and Finance
- Early Childhood and Development
- Retail Management and
- Hospitality and Tourism
At postgraduate level, the courses to be offered are:
- Public Policy and Governance
- Global Studies
- Public Health
- Urban Studies
- Law and
- Politics and Society
The application process for postgraduate courses will start from the last week of April and for undergraduate courses it will start from the first week of May.
The university operates from two campuses in Delhi - Kashmere Gate and Karampura, and the vocational courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be offered from the latter.
