DU Admissions 2021: Delhi University receives over 60,900 applications against first cut-off 2021
As per the official data released by Delhi University, around 14,205 applications have been approved by the principals of various colleges, and 27,006 students have secured their seats by paying the fees.
Delhi University Admissions 2021: Delhi University has announced that it has received as many as 60,904 applications for DU UG admissions 2021 against the first cut-off 2021. The Delhi University had closed the DU Admissions 2021 under the DU first cut-off list on October 7, 2021.
As per the official data released by Delhi University, around 14,205 applications have been approved by the principals of various colleges, and 27,006 students have secured their seats by paying the fees. Out of the total applications, 46,054 were from the CBSE board and the rest from all other state boards across the country.
By the end of the first round of merit-based admissions, 31,172 candidates from CBSE board, 2,365 from Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education, 1,540 from Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), 1,429 from Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and 1,301 from Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) in addition to other State Boards have secured their admissions.
Delhi University will verify the documents by October 8 and will finalise the admissions against the first cut-off list. All the candidates will have to make the payment to secure their seat against the first cut-off by October 8, 5 pm. Delhi University 2nd cutoff list 2021 will be released tomorrow; i.e. October 9.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for DU Admissions 2021:
- Go to the official website of DU; du.ac.in
- Login and generate DU admission form
- Fill the online admission form
- Upload scanned documents for online verification; Check the list of documents required for DU Admissions 2021 here
- Once the document is verified and admission is confirmed, candidates will have to log in again and pay the admission fee using the link activated under their login
- Once the fee is submitted, the admission will be confirmed
