DU Cut-off 2021: Delhi University Phase 2 special drive cut off 2021 was announced on November 24, 2021. The DU first cut-off list 2021 was announced on October 1. The Delhi University on September 27 announced the schedule of DU cut-off 2021 and admission dates for all the rounds on its admission portal. This year, around 70,000 seats are up for the students in the various undergraduate merit-based courses. The DU Admissions 2021 application process began on August 2 and concluded on August 31, 2021.

The Delhi University has received 4,28,696 applications for the UG admissions. The DU cut-off release date has been delayed this year as the varsity wanted to accommodate the students who have appeared for CBSE Class 12 compartment and improvement examinations.
As per the DU admission schedule, Delhi University will release five cut-offs and one special drive cut-off list. In case the seats still remain vacant even after that, Delhi University had decided to release one special cut-off for all those students who could not apply in the previous rounds despite being eligible.

Aryabhatta College has released its special cutoff list 2021 for admission to various UG courses. October 9, 2021 (06:30 pm): Ramjas College 2nd Cutoff 2021 released

Ramjas College 2nd Cutoff 2021 has been released. As per the list, students looking for admission at Ramjas College must note that they need to have a perfect cut-off score of 100. However, no changes have been made in the cut-off score by Ramjas college for BA Hons Political Science Hons, while the cut-off score for BA programme category C and BSc Hons Physics has seen a dip of 0.5 and 0.77% respectively. October 9, 2021 (05:00 pm): DU 2nd cutoff 2021: Important dates

The colleges will approve the DU admissions against the Delhi University second cut-off list 2021 by October 14 till 5 pm. Candidates will be allowed to pay the admission fees till October 15 by 5 pm. Those candidates who have taken admissions on the basis of the first DU cut-off 2021 can also withdraw and change their admissions after the DU 2nd cut-off list is released.

October 9, 2021 (04:30 pm): Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College second cutoff 2021 released

As per the Indian Express report, the admission process for all the courses is open for the general category except the BA programme. In the DU 2nd Cutoff 2021, all the six BA courses combinations offered by Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College have been closed. As per the second list, the Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College second Cutoffs 2021 are:

Aryabhatta College has released its second cut-off list 2021. The Aryabhatta College second cut off 2021 list has been released by the college with the decline ranging between 0.25 to one per cent. It must be noted that Aryabhatta College has kept the highest cut-off for BA (Honours) Psychology among all the courses at 98.5 per cent in the first list which came down to 98.25 per cent in the second list. The college principal Hem Chand Jain said the college has received 485 applications from aspirants since the commencement of the admission process.  The course has 60 seats in total and till now, 16 applications have been received, Jain told NDTV.

October 9, 2021 (11:00 am): Jesus And Mary College sets 100 per cent cutoff for Psychology

As per the JMC 1st cutoff list, a cutoff of 100 per cent was set for  BSc (H) Computer Science and 99.75% in Bcom (H) as well as Economics(H). For Psychology course, JMC has set 100% cut off. The DU First cut-off for JMC this year has increased by 1.75 percentage points, in both the BCom and Bcom (Hons.) courses. All those candidates who want to change their course on the basis of the second DU cut-off 2021 must note that they can withdraw their seats and apply for a new course. Candidates who hae\ve already paid the fees after the approval of admission must note that they have to cancel their admissions by paying a sum of Rs 1000.

October 9, 2021 (10:15 am): Admission At Miranda House

Miranda House has got nearly 1,600 admissions and will not be opening the admission under the second cut off list for these courses: Political Science (Honours), Chemistry (Honours), Physics (Honours), Zoology (Honours).

However, there are still seats remaining for courses like Sociology (Honours), History (Honours), Economics(Honours) and some combinations of BA programme.

October 9, 2021 (10:00 am): DU 2nd Cut-off List 2021: Hansraj College Data

As per the Hansraj College data, a total of 457 candidates have taken admission to the science courses, 403 took admissions to arts and commerce courses under the first cut-off list. Total of 70 candidates have taken admission into the BSc (Hons.) computer science course for which the cut-off was set at 100 per cent.

Delhi University had increased the deadline for fee payment. Earlier, the last date for payment by candidates against 1st cut-off list was till 5 pm on October 8, which was later extended to 11:59 pm for the same date.

As per the reports, Hindu College is most likely to close its admissions for almost all the science courses and BA programs. The admission that is expected to remain open is for BA Eco (Hons.) and BCom (Hons). Other than Hindu, Hansra college, Ramjas college and JMC are also likely to close admissions for top courses. LSR at the same time is expected to release no 2nd cutoff list for Psychology (Hons.).

Candidates can check the Delhi University Cut off List 2021 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and special one of their respective colleges by following the simple steps given below. The Course wise Arts, Science, Commerce college cutoff is separately released.:

• On that portal home page, click on the link that states 'DU cut off 2021;

• Check the cut off marks carefully by choosing the college, category and course

07:30 am: DU Admissions 2021: How to get hostel accommodation?

“The process of getting hostel is strictly on the basis of the merit of the candidate. Once a candidate gets admission in a college offering hostel facility then, they need to apply separately for hostels;  accommodation is subject to availability of seats," the University has announced.

07:00 am: The wait is finally over, DU Cutoff 2021 first list for all other colleges affiliated with DU will be announced today, i.e. October 1. Admissions against the first cut-off list, will begin on October 4, 10 am. The last day of payment by candidates against 1st cut-off is October 8.

06:20 am: Aryabhatta College’s first DU cut-off 2021 list includes 13 undergraduate courses. The Highest cut-off stood at 98.5 per cent for BA (H) Psychology.

06:17 am: Delhi University’s Aryabhatta College is the first one to release the DU first cut-off list 2021 for admission to various courses.

06:00 am: DU to provide 100 per cent fee exemption to those who lost one or both parents to COVID

The Delhi University has urged colleges to provide relief to students affected due to COVID-19. Some of the colleges have come forward and have announced that they would give 100 per cent fee waivers to the student who has lost either of their parents or both the parents due to the pandemic.

05:45 pm: As reported earlier by Shiksha, As many as 14 colleges of the university are planning to launch nearly two dozen UG and PG courses from the upcoming academic session. If the colleges get the approval to launch these courses, the number of UG-PG seats in DU would go up by 900.

05:15 pm: With more than 70,000 students scoring more than 95 per cent, the cut-offs will be on the higher side this year, Dr. Rajesh Giri, Principal of Rajdhani College, told Shiksha.com. Read the full interview here
