Mystory@Kritika Ahuja

My decision to study Science in XI and XII was shaped by the fact that it had a bigger role to play in my life. I was fascinated by how trivial things in our lives are associated with science; concepts like how the smell of perfume spreads across the hall, why we move forward when a car stops, how area is directly proportional to pressure and many such ideas interested me. I have grown up watching Discovery channel and have always enjoyed it. Speed of Light, Black Hole, Space etc., always intrigued me. I enjoy every bit of this curiosity factor of science.

How I cracked college admission

I'm a Graduate from Delhi University and got admission on the basis of cut-off. In Delhi University, admission are done through cut-off marks. The cut-off list is released every year and if your scores match the cut-off of a particular college, you can seek admission there.

What I gained from my college experience

I learnt something new about life every day and still learning.

My college life was great. In my Graduation, I was a noob. I learnt something new about life every day and I am still learning. Learning never stops; no matter at which stage you are in life. I got placed through my college and I have recently started working and I'm exploring new things every day by learning about the practical implementation of my subject. I'm learning about how important it is for a person to communicate well with their team. And that if you don't upgrade yourself constantly with the changing technology, you start degrading. It is important for a person to keep learning throughout his/her life.

Yes, I'm absolutely sure about my decision. I'm performing new tasks and facing new challenges every day and that's what I have always desired. We as human beings make many mistakes and that's what makes us who we are, and so, there are no regrets in my life, just lessons to be learnt.

Your college education plays an important role in your life. You need to have a good understanding of the basics which you learn during your college life because it makes all the difference. I think my desire to learn new things and stay positive in life worked for me.

When it comes to selecting your career, never compromise, always wait for the right opportunity, select the career which interests you and brings a big smile on your face because in the long run that's what really matters.
