Aligarh Muslim University Application Window to reopen today! Know how to Apply

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) application window will reopen today and interested students can apply for the AMU Entrance Exam. Take a look.

The Aligarh Muslim University had decided to reopen its application window for new registrations to its programmes and courses offered at the renowned varsity. In view of the global pandemic and the raging cases rising in India day by day, the University has decided to reopen the application portal so that students can apply for admission to the University and the to the new programmes and courses which have been released for BTech and MTech programmes. Admission to the University is done through clearance of the AMU Entrance Exam.

Students who have not yet applied online for admission to Aligarh Muslim University can apply once the application window opens online on the official website. The last date to apply for the AMU Entrance Exam is till August 21, 2020, for all courses, except for BTech and MTech courses, the last date to apply for the Engineering programmes is till August 28, 2020.

How to Apply for AMU Entrance Exam

Step 1: Visit the official website of Aligarh Muslim University.

Step 2: Click on ‘Admissions & Examinations’ tab which will be present on the portal.

Step 3: Click on ‘Apply Now’ for the programme and course you are interested in applying for.

Step 4: Register yourself online by entering the basic details to create a login ID and password.

Step 5: Once the registration is done, proceed to fill the AMU Entrance Exam application form by entering your personal and academic details.

Step 6: Upload the documents according to the size and dimensions mentioned on the AMU Entrance Exam application form.

Step 7: Once the details are filled and documents are uploaded, the candidate has to proceed to pay the application fee via online mode i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 8: Once the payment is made, the candidate has successfully applied online for the AMU Entrance Exam.
