JUET 2016 Results

JUET 2016 results have been declared by University of Jammu on June 21, 2016.

Candidates can check their JUET 2016 result on the official website of Jammu University by filling in their registration number and password or registration number and date of birth.

The official website of JUET 2016 informs, “After the declaration of the result of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET), candidates shall apply to the concerned Department with all the relevant documents including Entrance Test Score Card. A separate notification shall be issued subsequently in this regard and list of students selected for admission shall be finalized and notified by the Admission Committee of the Department concerned by the date specified for the purpose”.

Aspirants who have made it to the merit list of JUET 2016, that is, aspirants who have qualified JUET 2016, with the required qualifying percentage (30% for General Category and 25% for SC/ST) need to further fill an application form on the official website of Jammu University.

Candidates are further informed that the admission criteria for PG and UG courses offered at Jammu University remains the same, that is, 75% weightage will be given to academic merit and the remaining 25% weightage would be alotted to JUET-2016 score.

To apply for admission in academic programmes of the University, aspirants need to fill a separate JUET admission form for each course (along with relevant documents) on the official website of the varsity to secure admission in University of Jammu's colleges in Jammu/ Offsite Campuses/Affiliated Colleges.

Jammu University conducted JUET 2016 across eight test centres in the State on June 12, 2016. Officials share that a total of 11,473 applied for Jammu University Entrance Test 2016 (JUET 2016). However, only 10,984 took the exam.

Aspirants need to take JUET exam if they want to secure admission in UG as well as PG programmes on offer at University of Jammu.

JUET exam has been in controversy right from the start. Jammu University had released the official answer keys for JUET UG and PG entrance exams. However, aspirants claim that the JUET 2016 answer keys were full of errors.

On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in JUET exam, he/she can secure admission in UG and PG programmes offered at 157 colleges that are affiliated to Jammu University.
