RULET 2025 Reservation Policy

The following reservation policy will be used for filling BA LLB seats in various categories.

Q:   Is there an age limit for RULET eligibility?

A:

There is no specific age limit mentioned for RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) eligibility. RULET eligibility criteria typically focus on educational qualifications and other relevant factors, but age restrictions were not a part of the eligibility criteria at that time.

However, it's important to keep in mind that eligibility criteria may change from year to year, and the University of Rajasthan, which conducts RULET, may update its criteria in subsequent years. Therefore, it is recommended to candidates that they need to check the official RULET notification or the University of Rajasthan's official website for the most current and accurate information regarding eligibility criteria, including any potential changes related to age restrictions, for the year in which you plan to apply.

Q:   Can candidates from other states apply for RULET?

A:

RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) eligibility criteria typically does not restrict candidates based on their state of residence. This means that candidates from other states in India are generally eligible to apply for RULET and seek admission to the BA LL.B. (Hons.) programme offered by the University of Rajasthan. However, they must meet the qualification requirements related to the qualification based eligibility criteria of the University of Rajasthan for admission to the BA LL.B. course.

Q:   What is the minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for RULET?

A:

The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) is typically the completion of the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board or institution. Candidates must have successfully passed their 10+2 examination with the required minimum percentage of marks as specified in the official RULET notification for the respective year. Candidates from general category need 50% marks in their qualifying exam to apply for RULET. However, candidates belonging to SC and ST category need a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam to fill out the RULET application form,

It's important to note that the specific minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility may vary from year to year. Therefore, candidates should refer to the official RULET notification or the University of Rajasthan's official website for the most up-to-date information on eligibility criteria, including the minimum percentage of marks required for the year they plan to apply.
