The online application process for Allahabad University BA LLB admissions at the CUET 2023 website (cuet.samarth.ac.in) has been closed on April 11. The University of Allahabad accepts the CUET entrance test scores for admission to the BA LLB programme. The LFAT application form 2023 was available only in online mode. Candidates were required to fill out the application form on the official website through the link provided below on this page. Candidates applying for AU BA LLB 2023 have to complete registration, fill up the application form, upload documents, pay the application fee and submit the form online. Check here complete details of how to apply, application dates and other important instructions.

How to apply for AU BA LLB 2023?

Candidates can check how to apply for AU BA LLB through CUET 2023 as mentioned below: 

  1. Visit the official website of CUET 2023 - https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ 
  2. Register with basic details such as name, email, phone number and address
  3. Your registration ID and password will be generated, save the login details 
  4. In the form fill up, candidates need to select University of Allahabad and BA LLB (Hons.) course option in University and Programs section
  5. Complete the application form with personal details, educational qualifications as well as uploading documents and fee payment 
  6. The application fee can be paid in online mode only using e-payment methods - Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Paytm. 
  7. Once, the application fee has been paid, download the fee receipt, cross-check if the application status has been updated in the application form or not, and submit the form after this.

Candidates must get printouts of the application form and retail it for use at the time of admission process later. They need not send any printouts of the application form pr documents to the university.

LFAT 2023 Application Process FAQs

Q. When is the last date to submit the LFAT application form 2023? 

A. The last date to submit the LFAT form in 2023 was March 30. Candidates could fill out the CUET 2023 application form to study AU BA LLB courses in 2023 because Allahabad University now accepts CUET for admission to integrated LLB courses.       

Q. Which personal details are required for the LFAT application form?

A. Candiadtes are required to fill out their name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, educational information, including class 10th and class 12th details, signature, and passport size photograph as their main personal details in the LFAT application form. They should also mention their mobile number, email address, permanent address, and correspondence address.   

Q. Can I change my email address on the LFAT application form after submitting it? 

A. Candidates cannot change their email address on their LFAT form once they submit it because this detail is non-editable. Other non-editable details include mobile number, permanent address, and correspondent address.   

Q. What is the age limit to apply for LFAT 2023?  

A. No age restriction is imposed on candidates for the LFAT 2023. However, applicants must fulfil the age requirements (if any) of the university they wish to enrol in. For knowing the age requirement, they must check the CUET eligibility criteria 2023 for UG law courses/legal studies.  

Q. Can I change the city of examination in the LFAT form after submitting it?  

A. Candidates can change the exam city or centre previously selected by them in the LFAT form when the correction window is opened. In 2023, the correction window was open from April 1 to 3, 2023.    

Q. Can I fill out LFAT form offline? 

A. Candidates cannot fill out the LFAT application offline. This test is now conducted through CUET. Thus, they need to fill out and submit the CUET application form to appear in LFAT.      

Q. How much is the LFAT application fee for the general category?

A. Candidates of the General (UR) category are required to pay INR 750 as the LFAT application fee for up to three subjects. For up to seven subjects and ten subjects, they need to pay INR 1,500 and INR 1,750, respectively, for LFAT applications.  

Q. How much is the LFAT application fee for the OBC-NCL (EWS) category?

A. Candidates in the OBC-NCL (EWS) category must pay an LFAT application fee of INR 700 for up to three subjects. Applicants must pay INR 1,400 for up to seven subjects and INR 1,650 for up to ten subjects for LFAT applications.  

Q. How much is the LFAT application fee for candidates in the SC/ST category?

A. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are required to pay INR 650 as the LFAT application fee for up to three subjects. For up to seven subjects and ten subjects, they are required to pay INR 1,300 and INR 1,550, respectively, for LFAT applications.  

Q. How can I confirm that my LFAT application has been submitted?

A. Candidates will receive a confirmation email and a message on their email address and phone number mentioned in the LFAT application form after paying the application fee. The email and message will confirm that they have successfully submitted the LFAT application form.   

Q. Can I correct my personal details after the transaction of the LFAT application fee?

A. Yes, applicants can change their personal details after paying the LFAT fee. The changes can be made when the correction window is open.
