Q:   What is eligibility for CLAT 2025?

A:

All those candidates who are willing to appear for the CLAT should meet the eligibility criteria as announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities. All eligible candidates must fill the CLAT application form before the last date. The consortium released the updated eligibility criteria of CLAT for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM courses on its official website. These criteria include parameters like academic qualification, minimum marks, age limit, etc.

Q:   When will the CLAT counselling 2025 begin?

A:

CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration has begun. Candidates can complete CLAT 2025 Counselling Registration until December 20, 2024 (10 pm). The Consortium will release the CLAT first allotment list 2025 on December 26, 2024. Candidates can register for counselling before the deadline. The consortium has also published the dates for announcement of merit list of various rounds. CLAT 2025 Counselling will be conducted in five rounds.  Know more about it here - https://www.shiksha.com/law/clat-exam-counselling.

Q:   How CLAT Rank and CLAT Score 2025 are related?

A:

Candidates must note that all participating institutes in CLAT will release a separate category-specific cutoffs for every course they offer. The CLAT Cutoff 2025 mentions the ranks of the candidates who are eligible for admission to the college. However, it does not releases the marks scored by the candidates. But, the higher the score, the better is the rank.

CLAT cut-off 2025 will depend on various factors such as the total number of candidates, seat intake, the difficulty level of the exam, the category of the aspirant, and the performance of the candidate. In case the difficulty level of the exam is high then the cut-off marks and score are expected to go down

Q:   Where can I do LLB with correspondence from?

A:

Because Bar Council of India (Which regulates lawyers profession) does not recognize any distance education degree for LL.B. Therefore, even if you managed to obtain one, you will not be able to practice in court with that degree. In simple word you can't become lawyer doing LL.B. Through distance or correspondence mode. So doing LL.B. Through distance mode is not valid for practicing as Lawyer, hence avoid to pursue this.
