IIM Calcutta Admission Criteria: WAT/PI allotted more weightage than CAT
IIM Calcutta Admission Criteria - India’s premiere management institute, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) has announced its admission criteria for PGP-PGDM 2018-2020 batch.

The criteria described on the official website of IIM C is of a crucial significance to the candidates who are planning to appear in Common Admission Test or CAT 2017 as the information will help them strategise better if they are eyeing a seat in the top institute.
CAT 2017, which is all set to be held on November 26, 2017 will form the basis of selection of the candidates along with past academic performance and other criteria.
Selection for Personal Interview (PI):
Minimum section-wise and overall cut-off percentile for selection to PI round is as follows:

Those who will secure above mentioned minimum percentile in each category in CAT 2017 will be considered for calculation of their composite score which will then be used in shortlisting candidates for PI.
Calculation of Composite Score:
The Composite Score will be calculated on the basis of CAT 2017 score, Class X and XII marks and gender diversity factor.

Final selection of the candidates for PGP-PGDM 2018-2020 will be based on the combination of the above mentioned criteria and no single criterion will automatically qualify the candidate for admission to IIM Calcutta.
CAT 2017 is scheduled to be held on November 26, 2017 and registrations for the same is underway. Aspiring candidates can get themselves enrolled by September 20, 2017.
