Will there be a change in CAT exam pattern?

Last year, IIM Indore revised the CAT exam pattern in view of COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was held in three slots instead of two, to accommodate all the applicants on a single day while maintaining social distancing at the exam centres. The duration of CAT exam was reduced from three hours to two hour. There was also reduction in total number of questions in the CAT exam paper. There were 76 questions instead of 100. This year, the examination body may follow the two hour exam format as the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over and there may be a third wave in October.
