FMS, Delhi offers two executive MBA programmes, both taught in evening-class mode. Read all about these executive MBA programmes including eligibility criteria, selection procedure, application dates, fees and course curriculum, below.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi offers two executive MBA programs - Executive MBA and Executive MBA Health Care Management. Classes of both the programmes is conducted in evening. Applications for admission is invited October and November (application dates are yet to be announced for 2020 academic session). The students are admitted based on their on the entrance exam score and personal interview. Read below, all about Executive MBA from FMS, Delhi including eligibility criteria, admission process, admission dates and fees.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to pursue executive MBA program at FMS for the different courses are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for Executive MBA

    • The Candidate should have completed a three years’ bachelor’s degree program after 10+ 2 years of formal school education. They should have a minimum aggregate score of 45 per cent in their graduation.
    • The candidate should also have at least five years of experience as an administrator or executive in a government or commercial establishments or any other registered organization after passing their UG examination.
    • The candidate should either be sponsored by their present employer or produce a NOC from their present employer before taking admissions.

Eligibility Criteria for Executive MBA in Health Care Administration

  • The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree with 45 per cent marks or its equivalent grades in any of the healthcare disciplines such as MBBS, BDS, genomics, biotechnology, nursing, bioengineering, alternative systems of medicine, pharmacology, zoology or anthropology.
  • The candidate should have at least five years of experience as an executive or administrator in an industrial, commercial, government establishment or registered organization after completing their Bachelor’s degree and excluding their internship.
  • The candidate should produce an NOC from the present employer or should be sponsored by their employers.

Course Outline:

Course of the two-year evening Executive MBA and EMBA in Health Care Administration has been divided into four semesters spread over a period of two years. The candidates are required to complete seven core or elective courses, or a combination of both in each semester. Both the executive MBA programmes have a total of 1120 study hours that are divided into 19 core courses and nine elective courses.

FMS, Delhi: Executive MBA Selection Procedure

The selection process includes a General Ability Test and Extempore/Personal Interview. For selection of candidates, their academic history and work experience are also taken into consideration. Check details related to FMS Executive MBA selection process:

The candidates are required to produce their original certificate and mark sheet at the time of interview. All claims of experience, qualification, grade conversation have to be justified at the time of interview.

FMS Delhi: Executive MBA application process and form

The candidates can apply for admission to Executive MBA and Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration programs by filling up their online application form and by paying the application fee.

The fee structure for the executive MBA from FMS Delhi is as follows.

  • The fee for the faculty of management studies, University of Delhi is Rs. 50,000 payable in two installments.
  • The student has to pay Rs. 1,000 towards Library Fee.

Seat reservation

For the MBA executive program that has 159 seats in total, 80 seats are for open category, 43 seats are reserved for SC, 24 seats for ST and 43 seats for OBC candidates. The supernumerary seats are reserved as 8 seats for PWD and 8 seats for CW candidates.

For the MBA executive health care administration degree, there are 39 seats in total. 20 seats are for general unreserved category, 6 seats for SC, 3 seats for ST and 10 seats for OBC candidates. Supernumerary seats are reserved as PWD-2 seats, and CW- 2 seats.

FMS Delhi: Executive MBA placements

The FMS placement record for executive MBA graduates is excellent and the average salary of these graduates is Rs. 22.6 lakh. The institute also offers summer placement opportunities to its student. The university was visited by more than 75 companies and the candidates are offered the top positions in these leading organizations. Some of the top recruiters of FMS Delhi are Asian Paints, Deloitte, Axis Bank, Accenture Strategy, Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, global hospitals, Tata Steel, L&T, Amazon, Godrej, TCS, etc. among others.

The online registration for executiv MBA starts in October and closes in November. The date for the general ability test is yet to be announced. Candidates interested in apply for executive MBA programmes offered by FMS, must mark their calendar for announcement of admission schedule.
