IIM Raipur Extends IIM CAP 2021; Apply by January 23

IIM CAP 2021 process for PGP/MBA admission through CAT 2020 began on January 16. Last date to apply is January 23. Check how to apply for IIM CAP 2021.

IIM Raipur started the Common Admission Process (IIM CAP) for admission to MBA/PGP batch of 2021 for the baby IIMs on January 16. Candidates who had selected IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Sirmaur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur in the CAT 2020 application form as preferred institute can fill the IIM CAP 2021 form to ensure selection for Personal Interview round for MBA admission. The last date to apply has been extended till January 23 (11 PM) and the interview call letters will be sent out to shortlisted candidates on January 27.

The IIM CAP is a single window admission process conducted by one of the participating IIMs for rest of them. This year, IIM Raipur will be conducting PIs on behalf of rest of the eight IIMs which are a part of IIM CAP. Also Read: What is IIM CAP?

How to Apply for IIM CAP 2021

Candidates can apply for IIM CAP 2021 on IIM Raipur website with the help of their CAT 2020 login ID. Check below steps to follow for IIM CAP registration:

• Log on to IIM Raipur website
• Click on the link indicating IIM CAP 2021 or copy this link: https://cap21.ucanapply.com/univer/public/secure?app_id=UElZMDAwMDA0OA==
• Click on candidate sign in and enter CAT registration ID
• Enter password, captcha code and click on submit
• Fill the CAP form, upload relevant documents and click on submit

IIM CAP 2021: CAT Cut Off for PI Shortlisting

Documents Required to Fill IIM CAP 2021 Form

The candidates must keep the following documents ready before filling the IIM CAP 2021 form.

• Candidate's photograph (Less than 100 KB).
• Candidate's scanned signature (Less than 100 KB).
• Photo identity card
• CAT 2020 score card
• Class 10 & 12 marksheet with a pass certificate
• Caste certificate (in case of NC-OBC/SC/ST)
• DAP/PWD certificate if applicable)
• EWS certificate should be valid for the year 2020-21 (based on the income for the FY 2019-20). Co-curricular and extra-curricular certificates

Graduation related certificates:

• Graduation Marksheet of all semester/years.
• Degree Certificate is required for those who have completed graduation before 2019.
• Provisional Degree Certificate for those who have completed graduation in 2020 but not received the degree certificate.
• Final year graduation students should upload the certificate as per the CAT 2020 format
• Certificate and marksheets of other qualification as mentioned in the CAT form

Work experience related documents:

• Experience Certificate of all past companies on the company letterhead with seal and signature of the competent authority.
• Service certificate from the competent authority on company letterhead with the seal and signature for those presently working OR offer letter/Joining letter with a first-month payslip and payslip of the latest two (2) months.
• In case the candidate is a proprietor or partner of a firm, the candidate has to provide the document proof such as the income tax for the relevant period. They also need to provide a certificate of registration for doing a business from the municipal corporation or appropriate authorities such as MSME certificate issued by Government of India, Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate, Partnership deed of the firm duly signed by all partners and GST registration certificate.
• In case a candidate has worked or is working in the unorganised sector, the candidate is required to provide cash voucher along with the bank statement as salary proof and the GST registration of the firm with the experience certificate.
