IMI Kolkata Admission 2021-23 Details

International Management Institute (IMI) Kolkata has announced the PGDM admission process for the academic year 2021-23. The application process is underway and the last date to submit the application form online is December 31, 2020. The institute, which has campuses in Delhi and Bhubaneswar as well, accepts the scores of CAT, XAT and GMAT. This article of Shiksha brings you the details about IMI Kolkata admission process pertaining to eligibility criteria, selection criteria and fees.

IMI Kolkata shortlists candidates based on the performance in the aforementioned MBA entrance exams followed by final selection rounds including Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). Apart from that, IMI Kolkata also considers factors like work experience, extracurricular activities, gender diversity, etc.

IMI Kolkata Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants applying for IMI Kolkata should fulfil the eligibility criteria stated below:

  • Candidates should be graduates in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent aggregate

  • Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply provided they meet the eligibility criteria by September 30, 2021

  • Applicants should have a valid score in CAT, XAT or GMAT

  • Although there is specific weightage for work experience, it is not mandatory

The final admission offer will be made on the basis of composite scores obtained by the candidates based on the above weightages. The final admission result will be communicated to the candidates through email and candidates can also check the same in the official website of IMI Kolkata.

IMI Kolkata Scholarships

IMI Kolkata grants scholarships up to 100 per cent to the selected students based on their academic performance, financial considerations and students with remarkable achievements in the field of sport, art and culture. The scholarships are offered in the following categories:

  • Scholarship for Economically Weaker Section

  • 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for meritorious students

  • Scholarship based on Extra-Curricular Activities

  • Special Consideration for SC/ST/OBC (NC)/Physically Challenged Candidates

  • Interim Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance (at the end of the 1st year of their PGDM programme)
