The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has announced the TISSNET 2021 result on March 25. Candidates who had appeared for the TISSNET 2021 exam on February 20 will be able to check the result by downloading the scorecard from the official website of TISS. The result of TISSNET 2021 not only gives the scores obtained in the exam but also the shortlist status for the final rounds of the selection procedure. The original date of the TISSNET 2021 result was March 16, which was postponed twice to March 19 and March 25. The schedule for further rounds of the admission process, the announcement of merit list, etc. are yet to be announced.

How to Download TISSNET 2021 Result

Candidates will have to follow the below steps to download the TISSNET 2021 result:

  • Visit the official website of TISS

  • Visit the login page

  • Enter the login credentials such as email id and password

  • Download scorecard and take a print out

Contents of the TISSNET 2021 Scorecard

The TISSNET 2021 scorecard will carry the following information:

  • Candidate name

  • Candidate Roll Number

  • Section-wise scores

  • Overall score

  • TISSNET 2021 cut off

  • Qualification status

What After TISSNET 2021 Result

After the TISSNET 2021 result is declared, shortlisted candidates will have to prepare for the TISSMAT and online Personal Interview (OPI) rounds. TISSMAT is a 45 minutes duration test of 50 marks. The areas that will be covered under TISSMAT are Comprehension, Management Data Interpretation, Business Awareness and Descriptive Writing. The total number of questions is 36.

Candidates who would qualify for TISSMAT will have to appear for the OPI rounds. Till 2018, the PI rounds were conducted in face to face mode at the campus. Last year onwards, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PI rounds were conducted in an online mode.

The final selection process or the merit list will be generated on the basis of candidates’ performance in TISSNET, TISSMAT and OPI and would be allotted weightage of 30:40:30 ratio.

After the declaration of the merit list, candidates will have to upload documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats. The academic session for 2021-23 is expected to commence in August.
