CMAT cut offs are the minimum score or percentile required for admission to MBA courses. CMAT 2025 cut offs for top MBA colleges are expected to be in the range of 95 to 99 percentile. The CMAT cut offs are determined by the participating colleges for admission to the upcoming MBA batch.

For admissions, candidates have to meet the minimum CMAT cut off percentiles and clear the selection round of their desired institute individually. Admission to MBA courses based on CMAT 2025 cut offs will begin after the result announcement. Total number of seats available at the institute
Previous years' cut offs for admission
Total pass percentage of candidates in CMAT 2025
Difficulty level of the CMAT question paper

CMAT exam score is accepted by all the Maharashtra colleges and institutes which participate in MAH CET CAP for MBA/MMS admission. The All India Category students who wish to participate in MAH CET CAP, can apply with their CMAT score. The admission process through MBA CAP includes form filling and seat allotment based on entrance exams score cut off.

Q: What after CMAT result?

After the declaration of CMAT result, colleges accepting the exam score for MBA/PGDM admission will start the selection process. The candidates who shall have passed they CMAT exam will be required to fill the application forms of their target MBA colleges for admission. Aspirants will need to apply on the basis of their score and cut offs fixed by the institute. If a candidate does not meet the minimum CMAT cut off, they should not apply to that college, as their application will be rejected at the first level of screening. The institutes will conduct group discussions and personal interviews to select candidates for final admission. Candidates will have to ensure that they perform well in the group discussions and personal interviews as merely meeting the CMAT 2024 cut off will not confirm admission.

Yes, the Common Management Admission Test score is the total marks one has scored in the exam (sum total of marks scored in the five sections basis correct and incorrect attempts), whereas the Common Management Admission Test percentile is the rank of an applicant compared to all other test takers. Common Management Admission Test Percentile Calculation: Percentile P = 100 x Number of students who appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate/Total number of candidates who appeared. For example, suppose 10,000 students appeared in the Common Management Admission Test exam. And student A has got the Number 1 Rank. His Common Management Admission Test percentile score will be: 100 x 9999/10,000= 99.99 You can also calculate the rank with the below-given formula: Percentile (P)= 10,000 1 (rank)/10,000 x 100= 99.99. CMAT Selection Procedure 2025

Post the declaration of CMAT cut off/qualifying marks by the institutes, candidates are required to fill the application form of preferred B-School. The admission process through CMAT exam for a MBA/PGDM programme includes the following stages:

Q: How to calculate CMAT percentile?

Since CMAT is usually conducted in two shifts, there are chances of the question paper of one shift being slightly tougher or easier in comparison to the question paper of other shift. In order to negate the possibility of any candidate having an advantage or disadvantage due to this, the exam authorities normalise the CMAT scores before percentile calculation. Once that is done, the authorities use the normalised score for percentile score calculation. CMAT percentile is basically a rank of a candidate vs the total number of candidates who appeared in the exam. Given below is the formula for calculating CMAT percentile prescribed by NTA: Formula to Calculate CMAT Percentile: If 10,000 candidates appeared in CMAT and only 1 candidate scored the highest marks (365/400). Since they have scored the highest in exam, their rank will be 1 and CMAT percentile score will be: 100 x 9999/10,000= 99.99.
