I am satisfied with the faculty's attempts to teach us more modern concepts.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 16,000 per month. Amul India, ICICI Securities, TCS, are the top recruiters. Roles of sales executive and business analyst are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 2.4 LPA. Almost 70% of the students got internships in Aditya Birla, Axis Bank, ITC, HDFC Bank.
Infrastructure: Amenities like computer lab, library, auditorium, projector room, and Wi-Fi, are available here. The library had old research papers from HBS. Classrooms were clean and also the entire college. Being a grade A university, it had really good food and rooms in hostels. Grounds were also well maintained. Running tracks, football ground, cricket ground, badminton court, and a well-maintained gym were also present here.
Faculty: Teachers here were very well qualified. Some of them were doing their doctorate while teaching and some were already holding PhDs. They had proper subject knowledge and communicated really well. The course structure that DAVV followed was really outdated, and many of the topics had no relevance in today's marketing world.
Other: I was interested in learning about the marketing world and how it affects consumer's daily decisions in buying goods and services. There should be more practical approach to teaching. Students were responsible for conducting events, and they were conducted according to the fixed schedule. Scholarships were available for EWS students and students coming in reserve criteria.

Good college in terms of ROI.
Placements: The placement of DAVV is decent, The college fails to get each student placed, the students with high grades and prior work experience get an edge in placement. The average package of DAVV lies between INR 5 LPA- INR 6LPA. The college barely manages to get 70% of the students placed. Students with marketing as their specialization often manages to get a placement.
Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure like any other government b-school, The classrooms are spacious, there are a big playground and a football and a cricket field for recreation. The college library is good with huge reading space you may find there fiction books of all genres apart from academic MBA books. The canteen is okay and food is edible.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with in-depth knowledge of their respective subject. Some senior faculty have over 2 decades of experience, Unlike other MBA colleges, in DAVV they use the conventional approach of teaching case in point using boards and markers than powerpoint presentations.

The placement record in the last five years was good.
Placements: Placement records of the college are quite good. Students have been placed in prestigious companies like TCS, Collegiate, Asian Paints, HDFC Bank, etc. It is observed that the companies show a high interest in selecting students from the college, and they seem to be satisfied with the students' performance.
Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure with all basic requirements but hardly anything on the lucrative side. The college might lack in modern and updated infrastructure. However, it is covered by the hospitality it offers.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are decent. They are present for the lectures on a regular basis and are very supportive. They remain available on the campus to solve doubts and extend a helping hand for students. The course curriculum is quite good to provide a good career.

A decent college with a really good ROI.
Placements: Most of the students of our senior batch were placed. Placements in our college are good, but most of the students get placed in sales and marketing domains. Some profiles are also offered in the finance domain, but no profiles are offered in the operations sector. ROI is very good here. Well-reputed companies like Deloitte, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, Tata AIG, Colgate Palmolive and others offer good profiles in the marketing domains, and some students are also offered jobs in the finance domain.
Infrastructure: The weakest aspect of this college is its infrastructure. The academic building is very old, and they didn't renovate it. Students don't feel comfortable being here. The college doesn't provide any projector facilities, and they don't provide any other smart teaching devices in the classroom. They are using a very traditional method of using chalk and board for teaching. Basic amenities like drinking water and washrooms are decent.
Faculty: We have quite good faculty members. They are knowledgeable, and most of them are helpful and encouraging. They have strong command on their respective subjects. Teaching methods used are a bit orthodox and can be improved to include modern day examples and real-world situations.

A review of Institute of Management Studies, DAAV.
Placements: Placements are available only in the sales sector with an average package of 4-5 lacs per annum. There is nothing like 100% placements, but you can get a good placement if you have the calibre. But the thing to be remembered is that companies come only for sales profiles and not for marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a major drawback of this college. The auditorium is just good but not like as it should be. Even the classrooms are not in good condition. But if you can neglect the infrastructure part, the college is good for studies and placements in the sales field.
Faculty: The faculty members are good with minimum 10 years of experience in teaching as well as in the corporate sector. They share their experiences with students, and not only teach but also guide students for their career. In total, the faculty are very good, and courses are designed as per the latest industry requirements.
Other: There is an event conducted almost every month, but that's not new and almost every business school does that.

    Q:   Does DAVV require CUET?

    A:

Admission into DAVV Indore for the year 2024 is based on the CUET exam. The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to take place from May 15 to 31, 2024, while the CUET PG 2024 exam is going to be conducted between March 11 to 28, 2024. NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2024 Application Form in the 1st week of January 2024. Admission into various programmes such as BVoc, MPharm, MVoc, and Diploma programmes does not require taking the CUET exam.

Q:   Can a student get admission to DAVV without CUET?

    A:

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. So, the best solution is to prepare in advance for the CUET and get admission in the relevant course. Seats are limited and candidates applying through CUET are many. Only good preparation can assist in getting admission to various courses like BTech, BSc, B.A. and others.

    * Curriculum: The course curriculum is dynamic, covering theoretical and practical aspects of management. Students appreciate the relevance of the programme to the current business environment.
