Effectiveness of the Placement Cell for BE/BTech Programs at Shri Ram College, Jabalpur

* Good placement record: Around 8-9 students out of 60 from the senior batch were offered campus placements. Almost 7 students out of 57 from the current batch were placed.
* Variety of companies visiting: Many companies visited the campus for placements, including Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Prism Cement, and others.
* Higher salary packages: The highest salary package offered ranged from 4 LPA to 12 LPA, while the average salary package ranged from 3 LPA to 4 LPA.
* Internship opportunities: Although the college does not provide internships, students have reported receiving internship opportunities in various fields.
* Placement cell efforts: According to students, the placement cell puts effort into preparing students for placements, although more could be done.

However, some areas for improvement mentioned by students include:

* Limited infrastructure: Some students felt that the Wi-Fi facility is limited, with only 34MB per person per day.
* Quality of labs: Students mentioned that the quality of labs could be improved, with some equipment not functioning properly.
* No industry exposure: None of the students reported having received industry exposure or training through the college.
