Revise vigorously

The last one month must be dedicated for thorough revision. Whatever has been studied till date, must be revised to retain them for a longer period of time. One must aim for at least two revisions before INI CET 2024 exam which will boost your confidence. Try to revise in combinations like a lengthy topic with a smaller one and any other combinations whatever suits you. Time should be managed in a manner so that every topic of INI CET 2024 syllabus gets revised before the D-day.

Q:   How many questions will be there in the INI CET 2025 exam?

A:

AIIMS will release INI CET 2025 exam pattern for January session. According to the existing pattern, there will be 200 questions in the exam. All the questions will be multiple choice type. Candidates will be given three hours to answer the question paper. There will be negative marking in the exam. For every wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deducted from the total. That is why candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confident of right answer.

Q:   Will there negative marking in INI CET exam?

A:

Yes, there will be negative marking in INI CET 2025 exam. According to INI CET pattern 2024, -1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. For right answer, +1 mark will be awarded to candidates. Candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confident of answer as negative marking may put toll on overall score. INI CET 2025 January session is scheduled to be held on November 5 in computer-based mode. Registration for INI CET 2025 January will begin most likley in the third week of September.

Q:   Do questions repeat in the INI CET exam?

A:

At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. At least two revisions are required before the exam date. After finishing the INI CET syllabus, candidates should appear in a mock test and solve previous question papers. Appearing in the mock test and analyzing their performance will boost their confidence.

Study with prepared notes

Those notes which were prepared during the initial days of INI CET 2024 preparation prove very handy while doing revision. These self-made topic-wise notes contain important points which help candidates to remember facts easily. Rather than studying the whole material again for revision, candidates get an insight of the whole topic through these highlights in the notes.

Practice mock test

A mock test is something that helps candidates to do reality check of their preparation. It is like testing yourself against whatever you have learned. Practice mock test at regular intervals and evaluate your score. Do an honest analysis each time after finishing the mock test. This will help candidates to work on their weak areas.

Check previous year question papers

The previous year's question paper provides candidates an insight into the INI CET 2024 exam. Candidates get to know about INI CET 2024 pattern and the type of questions. As INI CET was held for the first time in November 2020, candidates can check the previous three years’ PG question papers of AIIMS Delhi, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS. This exercise will help candidates to get an idea about the topic from which more questions are asked.

Q:   What is the exam pattern for the INI CET?

A:

AIIMS releases INI CET pattern along with the information brochure. The question paper pattern comprises details about the mode, medium of the exam, total number of questions asked, type of questions, allotted time, and marking scheme. INI CET exam is held in computer-based mode in English medium. According to INI CET 2025 paper pattern, a total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked and candidates get 3 hours to answer them. Candidates get 1 mark for every right answer while -1/3 for every wrong answer. It must be noted that the official question paper and answer key are not released for INI CET exam.

Q:   Why knowing INI CET exam pattern is important?

A:

Aspirants should know the INI CET 2025 pattern, as it gives them an idea of the question paper. They get to know about the exam and make a strategy accordingly. The exam pattern comprises details such as the mode and medium of the exam, the total number of questions and their types, the exam duration, and the marking scheme. AIIMS releases the exam pattern along with the information brochure. The INI CET exam is usually held in November and May in computer-based mode. There will be 200 questions, and the exam duration will be 3 hours.

Q:   Which topics had maximum questions in INI CET 2025 January session?

A:

A good number of questions were asked from topics such as Ortho, OBS Gynae, Pharma, pathology, Anatomy etc. Questions were one liner and concept based as well. The question paper was tough than last session. There were some repeated questions as well. The overall difficulty level of the INI CET 2025 question paper was moderate.

INI CET analysis is prepared based on memory-based questions asked from students who appear in the exam. The memory based questions are reviewed by experts and releases unofficial answer key solutions. Exam analysis helps aspirants to get an idea about overall difficulty level of the exam, so that they can make preparation plan accordingly. It must be noted AIIMS doesn't release official question paper and answer key solution for INI CET exam.

Q:   What is the weightage of various sections in INI CET exam?

A:

AIIMS doesn't release the sectional weightage for INI CET exam. However, experts believe clinical section comprises maximum weightage in the exam especially medicine and surgery. Both medicine and surgery comprises more than 80 percent questions in the exam. A good number of questions are asked from pathology as well.

Don’t try to learn new concepts

This is completely no before the exam. One month before the exam, candidates should not focus their energy on learning new concepts, rather they should aim for polishing whatever been studied to date. Learning a new concept will take lots of time which could be used for other important tasks related to the revision part. Fine-tuning already learned concepts is more important than starting something new.

Get your doubts cleared

Doubts are something that jeopardises the whole preparation strategy. As INI CET 2024 is PG level entrance test that tests candidates’ thorough knowledge of concepts, candidates must clear doubts. Candidates could seek the advice of seniors, professors, or any other colleague to make them understand doubt in any particular topic.

No need to be in study mode always, relax and unwind too

This is the time when candidates need to fine-tune things for the INI CET 2024 and they don’t need to be in the study mode always. Ideally, candidates should study 6-8 hours a day with proper strategy. That is enough. Studying with full concentration with a small break in between. It is very important to let the mind relax too. Candidates must find some time to do what he/she wants to do I.e listening favourite music or watching shows on TV etc.

Don’t let negativity overpower you

Candidates must not let negative thoughts in. Don’t think too much about the performance in the INI CET 2024 exam. Negative thoughts make you nervous. Always think about the fact that your preparation is the best and you will definitely score well in INI CET 2024 exam. Be cool, calm, and composed. Eat healthy, sleep well and study in a systematic manner.
