NEET 2026 Admit Card Date
The NEET admit card 2026 will be released by NTA around 3 to 4 days before the exam date. The NEET 2026 admit card will be displayed on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. The admit card or hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried to the NEET exam centre and must be preserved till the counselling process.
Candidates can download their admit cards using the application number and password. Candidates need to carry the printed copy of the NTA NEET UG Admit Card to the exam centre along with valid and original photo ID proof, such as, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card, DigiLocker or APAAR ID.

NEET 2026 Answer Key Date
The NTA will release the NEET 2026 answer key along with the NEET question papers and OMR response sheets of candidates. The NEET answer key will be released within a month after the exam at neet.nic.in. To download the answer key, candidates need to login with their application number and password. Candidates who took the exam will be able to challenge the answer key if they find any answer wrong or faulty.
The NEET final answer key 2026 will be released ahead of result or along with the result on the official website.
NEET 2026 Result Date
The NEET 2026 result date has not been announced yet. NTA will release the NEET result 2026 along with the scorecard within a month of conducting the exam, that is, in June 2026. The NEET 2026 cutoff will also be released along with the NEET result. The NTA will also publish the NEET merit list, city and centre-wise result data, the total number of qualified candidates, marks obtained by top scorers and other data along with the results.

NEET 2026 Counselling Dates
NTA’s role in the conduct of the NEET UG 2026 exam will get over with the release of the scorecards. The NEET 2026 counselling will be conducted by the MCC. The MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 will tentatively begin in July 2026. The NEET Counselling schedule 2026 will be announced after the exam results. The entire duration of NEET counselling is around four months. There will be four to five rounds of counselling for admissions to UG medical courses like MBBS, BDS and others.

NEET 2026 Registration Date
The NEET UG 2026 registration dates were announced through the release of the notification and information bulletin. The NTA NEET 2026 registration began on February 8, 2026. Candidates could register and submit their applications online at neet.nta.nic.in. The last date to submit the NEET application form 2026 was March 11, 2026. Candidates needed to upload the live photo as well as a passport and postcard-size photo along with the signature, thumb and finger impressions and other documents required for NEET 2026 registration.

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and para-medical courses in India. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. It is held once a year in a paper-pencil based mode.
The format for NEET exam is a total of 180 question with total 720 marks. Four marks will be awarded for a right answer and one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. The questions will be objective type that is MCQ based. 90 questions will be from Biology including Zoology and Botany both, and 45 questions each from Physics and 45 Chemistry. Each subject will be divided into two sections. The syllabus will be that of Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE syllabus.
Although earlier NTA was mulling the idea of conducting NEET twice a year, now it has been confirmed that the exam will be held only once a year in a paper-pencil based mode. NTA communicated this information through an RTI response where it was stated that NEET will be conducted once a year. This has quashed the possibility of conducting NEET twice a year. However, the NTA expert committee headed by ISRO Chief K. Radhakrishnan has recommended conducting NEET twice a year, but there has not been any official confirmation on it yet.

NTA releases the NEET advance intimation to exam city slip around 10 days before the exam. The document needs to be downloaded online by logging in to the exam website with the registration details.
