The NEET 2024 revised final answer keys for the original exam was released by NTA on July 26, 2024. This revised NEET answer key 2024 is as per the Supreme Court verdict. During the Supreme Court of India hearing on the various NEET 2024 petitions, the apex court had asked IIT Delhi Committee to share its opinion on the controversial NEET 2024 Physics question which had two correct answer options as per the NEET 2024 final answer key by NTA. It has been opined that the two options were mutually exclusive and only the option number 4 was correct. Accordingly, the bench has suggested revoking the bonus marks, awarding four marks only to whose who have marked the answer option 4, and levying negative marking to those who selected any other answer option.

Right after the declaration of the Supreme Court verdict, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the schedule of the NEET 2024 counselling, which commenced on August 14, 2024. The Round 1 seat allotment result was declared on August 25, 2024. The institute reporting process was conducted from August 25 to August 31, 2024. Round 2 of the NEET 2024 counselling process was conducted from September 5 to September 27, 2024. The Round 3 was conducted from October 3, 2024, to October 19, 2024. The Online Stray Vacancy round was conducted from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The Special Stray Vacancy round was conducted from November 20 to November 39, 2024. MCC conducted the Special Stray Vacancy Round 2 from December 9 to December 16, 2024.

The NEET 2024 final answer keys for the re-examination were released by NTA on June 30, 2024, ahead of the result declaration. The number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA
If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file)
After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET(UG) - 2024, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen
You will see a screen displaying your challenges
Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
Pay INR 200 fee through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking and Paytm
Save and print the NEET 2024 Answer Key Challenge receipt

Filing objection against the Answer Keys and OMR response sheet of NEET

NEET 2024 OMR response sheets of candidates were released by NTA along with the provisional answer key of NEET 2024. NTA also sent the scanned image of candidates' OMR sheets to candidates' registered email addresses. NEET takers were advised to check the OMR response sheet and compare the answers reflected in the sheet with those that they had marked on the exam day. The NEET OMR sheet and provisional answer keys are available to candidates after logging in to the official website of NTA NEET 2024.

If a candidate feels that the answers reflected in the NEET OMR response sheet are not what s/he had marked on the day of the examination, s/he can file an objection against the response sheet. A non-refundable fee of INR 200 has to be paid for the successful submission of the objection.

How to challenge the NTA NEET OMR response sheet?

The NEET 2024 OMR response sheets could be challenged by following the steps given below:

Go to the official website of NTA NEET - neet.ntaonline.in or directly enter https://neet.ntaonline.in/frontend/web/reexam-answerkey-challenge/reexam-login-answerkey
Login using the NEET 2024 application number and password or date of birth
Click on “OMR Challenge”
You will see the questions in sequential order
Select the Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.
Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.
If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
After clicking your desired option, for Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2024, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.
You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
Click on ‘Submit' and Pay Fee Finally’.
Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee of INR 200 for each question/grade challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.
After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt
