What is INI CET Rank and Percentile

INI CET rank indicates performance of the candidate in form of rank against all other candidates who appeared in the exam. It must be noted candidate who score highest mark among all gets top rank in the exam. INI CET percentile represents performance of candidate against overall performance of candidates. It says the percentage of candidates who scored less than this particular candidate. For an example if someone scores 75 percentile, that means he/she scored higher than 75 percent of total candidates.

Q:   What is the minimum cut off percentile to qualify INI CET exam?

A:

Candidates have to score the minimum marks to qualify for the AIIMS INI CET exam. The minimum marks vary for each category of students in the exam. While the General category candidates have to score minimum 50 percentile to qualify for the exam, those who belong to reserved category need to score 45 percentile marks. Anybody who score less than the minimum cut off will not be able to qualify for the exam. I

Q:   What is qualifying INI CET cutoff percentile for the general category?

A:

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for INI CET exam. The qualifying INI CET cut off percentile for the general category is 50%. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category have to score minimum qualifying cut off, 45. Candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off percentile are eligible for the counselling process. Based on INI CET cut off a merit list will be released. The merit list comprises name of eligible candidates for the different counselling rounds. AIIMS will be conducting INI CET 2025 January session on November 10, 2024.

Q:   Will cut off more for INI CET 2025 January session?

A:

There is a possibility. The cut off is inversely proportional to the difficulty level of the question paper. If the question paper will be easy, then the cut off will go up and likewise. The cut off for INI CET 2025 will be released along with the merit list for INI CET 2025. It must be noted that candidates have to score the minimum cut off percentile to qualify for the exam. The qualifying cut off vary for each category. Candidates who belong to general category have to score minimum 50 percent cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum qualifying cut off for SC/ST category is 45th.

INI CET 2024 Counselling

Candidates will have to participate in INI CET 2024 counselling for seat allotment. The counselling process will be held online. Candidates will have to register on the official website and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. Counselling for INI CET July 2024 will begin most likely in the last week of June, 2024. A total of 4 rounds of counselling will be held including mock round. AIIMS has already released seat matrix for allotment at 22 INIs including 18 AIIMS. Total 2,017 seats will be allocated through different rounds of counselling.

Q:   What is INI CET cut off?

A:

INI CET cutoff is the last rank and corresponding percentile at which candidate is called for counselling rounds. Candidates do have to score the minimum cut off to qualify the exam. The cut off differs for different categories such as general, and SC/ST/OBC. Based on the cut off a merit list is released. INI CET merit list includes candidates who are eligible for the counselling rounds. The merit list PDF comprises details such as roll number of candidate, category, institutional preference, overall rank, and percentile.
