NEET 2025 application form is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the first week of March 2025. The NEET 2025 exam date has not been announced officially. Based on previous years’ trends, it is likely that the exam will be held on May 4, 2025. Accordingly, the NEET application form 2025 will be out at least a couple of months before the exam.

NTA is expected to announce the NEET 2025 exam date in December 2024. The NEET 2025 application dates may be announced simultaneously, or later. The NEET application form-filling process is completely online. Candidates will have to fill and submit it along with the payment of the requisite fee in online mode only, which includes Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking or UPI.

The duration to fill and submit the NEET application form 2025 will be around one month. Accordingly, the NEET 2025 application form submission last date is likely to be dated in the fourth week of April 2025. Based on student requests or any other external factors, the NEET 2025 application last date may get extended by a couple of days.

To access and fill the NEET application form 2025, candidates will have to visit the official website of the exam to register and apply for NEET 2025 by entering the mandatory details, uploading documents and paying the application fee. After the completion of the application process, NTA will provide an application correction window wherein candidates can edit information submitted by them or change the uploaded files of images, signatures, thumb impressions, documents, etc.

How to fill NEET Application Form 2025?

The NEET 2025 application form-filling process will be completely online. The process is divided into three to four steps, which are as follows:

  • Filling up the NEET Registration 2025 form and generating the password
  • Logging in with the NEET 2025 registration details such as username and password 
  • Filling the NEET form
  • Document Upload
  • Payment of Fees

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the official website of NTA NEET (direct link will be provided later)

 

  • Click on “New Candidate Register Here" tab and read the instructions
  • Click on 'New Registration' and read the instructions
  • Select the Identification type among Aadhaar Card, Digilocker ID, Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID), Passport (Indian and non-Indian) and PAN Card

Note: This step was introduced in the NEET 2024 registration form, wherein the Identity Type selection has to be done at the beginning of the registration process.

Enter the following details on the NEET UG application form 2025:

  5. Category
  6. Gender

  8. Persons with Disability

Step 2: Filling up NEET Application Form 2025

  • Click on “Click here to login”
  • Login using the application number and password. As per the change, candidates can also login through their Academic Bank Credit Account Number (ABC ID) and Digilocker ID apart from the NEET 2025 Application Number and Password
  • The NEET form 2025 will open on your screen
  • Details entered during the registration process will be pre-filled in the application and cannot be changed

  • Check all the details carefully as they cannot be changed after the final submission of the NTA NEET 2025 application form, except for a few fields
  • To submit the duly checked application form, click on “Yes, please do” on the confirmation pop-up

Step 3: Upload scanned images and documents

  • Click on “Upload your recent documents”
  • Select the files to be uploaded
  • Click on “Next”
Step 4: Make Payment

To pay the NEET application fees 2025, select the desired mode of payment (SBI/Syndicate/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking/UPI). The NEET exam fees 2025 is expected to remain the same as last year.

Last year, the NEET application form documents required did not include the Class 10 Pass Certificate and Address Proof of candidates. This may be continued for NEET 2025 application process as well.

Step 5: Print Confirmation

Save and print the filled NEET application form 2025 along with the confirmation slip.

NEET 2025 Application Documents that must be retained till admissions

Candidates must keep the following documents safe till the NEET counselling or the medical admission process is concluded.

  • Printout of the confirmation page
  • Receipt for the payment of application fees
  • Six to eight copies of the uploaded photograph

NEET 2025 Application Correction

NTA provides the NEET application correction facility for the registered candidates wherein they get a chance to make necessary corrections or changes. The NEET 2025 application correction window will likely be opened in the first week of April 2025. Only those candidates submitting the NEET application form 2025 by paying the requisite application fee within the stipulated date will be eligible to avail of the NEET application correction facility.   • Visit the official website of NEET – neet.ntaonline.in 
  • Log in with the NEET 2025 registration credentials
  • Click on the tab ‘Correction in Application Form’
  • Make the necessary changes provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status
  • Click on Save
  • Download the updated Application Confirmation form

There was no additional fee to make corrections in the NEET registration 2025. However, there were a few fields which can not be edited. These fields included name, email ID and mobile number.
