Delhi University, JGU to co-host All India Commerce Conference on

Scheduled from December 13 to 15, 2023, the conference, organized by the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business at Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, is anticipated to draw over 2,500 delegates from across India and abroad

The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and OP Jindal Global University have joined hands to host the 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference,  is hosting the 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference (AICC) of Indian Commerce Association scheduled to be held from December 13-15, 2023. To be held at the campuses of both organizing universities, the conference is to be attended by more than 2,500 delegates who have already registered from different parts of India and abroad.

Scheduled from December 13 to 15, 2023, the conference, organized by the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business at Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, is anticipated to draw over 2,500 delegates from across India and abroad. Held across the campuses of both universities, this event signifies a significant collaboration.

The inaugural session will feature Vinai Kumar Saxena, Honorable Lt. Governor of Delhi, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, will preside over the opening. Additionally, Manniya B. R. Shankaranand, Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantri, Bharatiya Sikshan Mandal, Nagpur, will serve as the keynote speaker for the inaugural session. Bandaru Dattatreya, Governor of Haryana, has consented to be the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session, with P. M. Prasad, Chairman of Coal India Limited, as the Guest of Honour. The conference will also host distinguished Indian and International Speakers.

The overarching theme of the 74th AICC is "One Earth-One Family-One Future," with parallel sessions addressing various themes such as NEP 2020's impact on Commerce & Management Education, Business Transformation in the Digital Economy, the evolution from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Start-ups, Sustainable Development Goals 2030, and Empirical Researches in the World Economy, among others.

Prof. (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University, highlighted the conference's importance in aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, emphasizing the role of institutions in empowering Indian youth through commerce and management education.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Professor at Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, stressed the significance of the collaboration between DU and OPJGU in hosting this conference, expected to feature discussions on diverse themes, showcasing around 1800 research papers, fostering a diversity of thought.

Prof. W K Sarwade, President of ICA, expressed that the conference would encompass discussions on various aspects of commerce education, drawing in over 60 Deans, faculty, and 3000+ scholars and teachers to explore e-commerce, management, and economy from distinct perspectives.

The 74th Annual All India Commerce Conference aims to provide a platform for profound intellectual engagement, uniting scholars, faculty, and experts worldwide to delve into critical themes under the banner of 'One Earth • One Family • One Future,' fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in commerce education.
