AICTE introduces EducationIndia Portal for international students @educationindia.gov.in
According to the official notice, the portal enables a common platform for all Indian institutions in higher education that are admitting/ desirous of admitting international students to showcase their strengths.
All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE has launched EducationIndia Portal for international students. To access the portal, students can check the official website of EducationIndia, i.e. educationindia.gov.in. The web portal has been launched to showcase the strengths of Indian institutions to international students and to make available to them all information about Indian HEIs in one place.
According to the official notice, the portal enables a common platform for all Indian institutions in higher education that are admitting/ desirous of admitting international students to showcase their strengths.
One-time registration required for admission offers
While the registration is optional for students browsing through the portal. However, at the time of issuing an admission offer to any international student, the institution would ask the student to register on the portal, if not already registered, and generate a unique EducationIndia portal ID. Only one-time registration on the portal is required for students even if he/she has offers from multiple institutions.
However, the AISHE code is mandatory for all such institutions admitting international students. AISHE code will be used as Login ID on this portal.
