AIIMS Jammu hiring Senior Residents; Apply latest by Nov 5

AIIMS Jammu has invited offline applications from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Residents, the last date to apply for the same is November 5.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu is hiring Senior Residents for a period of 11 months or up to the next regular recruitment, whichever is earlier. Offline applications are invited as per the Govt. of India's Residency Scheme latest by November 5, 2022.

The openings are in as many as 19 departments of AIIMS Jammu including Anaesthesia, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community & Family Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Physiology, Psychiatry, Radiology (Radio-Diagnosis), Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank and Trauma & Emergency Medicine.

"The vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS, Jammu reserves the right to vary the no. of vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements of the Institute. Reservation is as per Government of India Policy," reads the official notification.

"To be eligible to apply for these posts the upper age as on the last date of application shall be 45 years for Un-reserved candidates (UR). This is relaxable for SC/ST candidate for a maximum period of five years. In the case of OBC candidates it is relaxable up to a maximum period of three years. In the case of Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates, this is relaxable up to a maximum period of ten years for General category, thirteen years for OBC category and fifteen years for SC/ST category candidates," added the official notification.
