AIIMS Patna celebrates Chandrayan Mahotsav today

All the faculty members, students, doctors and nursing officers of AIIMS Patna are attending the Chandrayan Mahotsav today, September 4, 2023.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna celebrated the Chandrayan Mahotsav today, September 4, 2023, to commemorate the achievements of the country in the field of Space, Science and Technology in general along with the achievement of Chandrayan in particular.

The program included inauguration, high tea (for all participants), direct transmission of Prime Minister's address, video show of Chandrayan Landing, question - response competition, patriotic program and presentations by UG students, screening of movie "Mission Mangal", and national anthem.

All the faculty, resident doctors, nursing officers, officers, students and other staff and hospital staff attended the event and the lecture classes for UG (MBBS & B.Sc Nursing) students are suspended for today.

Former ISRO Chairman writes about Chandrayaan mission

Former ISRO Chairman, G. Madhavan Nair has written an article about Chandrayaan mission and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on the potential of space technology and support to the scientific community.

ISRO scientist dies by cardiac arrest

Valarmathi, an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist, who lent her voice to countdowns for rocket launches in Sriharikota, died after a cardiac arrest on Sunday. She was last heard during the countdown announcement for the launch of Chandrayaan-3 that made a historic landing on the Moon.
