JIPMAT 2024 Result Delay Sparks Outrage Among Test Takers; Check Expected Date

JIPMAT 2024 Result Delay Leads to Outrage Among Test Takers; Check Expected Date

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is facing mounting pressure over the delayed declaration of JIPMAT results. The exam, held on June 6, saw the release of the final answer key around June 20. However, candidates are yet to receive the JIPMAT results. Typically, the JIPMAT results and final answer key are released within a gap of one or two days. The JIPMAT information brochure indicated the declaration of the results in the last week of June.

The delay has sparked widespread discontent among test-takers, many of whom have taken to social media demanding a clear timeline for the result declaration. The uncertainty surrounding the results is causing significant anxiety as the admission process for IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya, the two institutes accepting JIPMAT scores, hangs in the balance.

Candidates are expressing concerns about the potential impact of the delay on the academic calendar and the overall admission process. As the wait for the JIPMAT results continues, questions arise about the NTA’s ability to conduct examinations and release results efficiently.

IIM Admissions through JIPMAT 2024

Both IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu will offer admission to their Integrated Program in Management (IPM) based on the Joint Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (JIPMAT) scores. However, the two institutes have adopted different approaches to gender diversity.

While IIM Bodh Gaya has reserved 30 per cent of its seats for female candidates, IIM Jammu has opted for a weightage system. Female applicants at IIM Jammu will receive an additional 5 per cent weightage in the merit list, which will be prepared primarily based on JIPMAT scores (95 per cent).
