NTA Releases DU JAT 2021 Information Brochure

NTA has released the UG Bulletin of Information for DUET 2021. Exam cities have been increased to 27. Update on DU JAT important dates pending at NTAs end.

DU JAT Exam Details 2021

The National Testing Agency has released the Bulletin of Information for DUET 2021. The DUET UG BOI includes details related to the entrance based admission to Delhi University. DU JAT is one of the key entrance exams conducted by NTA for admission to BBA (FIA), BBE, and BMS courses offered by colleges affiliated with Delhi University.

With the release of the DU JAT information bulletin, NTA has confirmed that the entrance exam will be conducted in as many as 27 exam cities. Last year, DU JAT was conducted in a total of 24 exam cities. Cuttack, Lucknow, and Shillong are the three additions to the list of DU JAT exam centres.

DU JAT 2021 Exam Details

Besides the exam centre increase, DU JAT 2021 examination process remains the same as the previous sessions. Candidates were expecting NTA to conduct the DU JAT 2021 as a remote proctored exam. However, NTA has been following the trends to conduct the DU JAT exam as a Computer Based Test. The CBT will have as many as 100 questions from four different sections including Quantitative Ability; General English; Reasoning and Analytical Ability; and Business and General Awareness. Each correct response will fetch four marks while an incorrect response will lead to a negative marking of one mark.

DU JAT 2021 Exam Dates

NTA has decided to conduct DU JAT 2021 in two shifts on September 27. The first exam shift will start at 12:30 PM and will end at 2:30 PM. In contrast, the second shift of DU JAT 2021 is scheduled on the same date from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The exam date of DU JAT came into light after a notice was published over the official website of Delhi University, i.e. du.ac.in. However, due to an unknown reason, the notification regarding the DU JAT exam dates was taken down.

DU JAT exam date 2021 is expected to remain September 27. NTA hasn’t notified any other dates including the release date of the DU JAT 2021 admit card, the release of DU JAT answer key, and the announcement of the DU JAT result.

COVID-19 Specific Advisory

With DU JAT 2021, NTA is better prepared to fight the pandemic by following precautionary measures including social distancing and masking. Check the COVID-19 specific advisory and exam day instructions, released by NTA along with the DUET information brochure.

  • A printed copy of the admit card along with the filled in self-declaration form downloaded from the NTA Website should be carried on the examination day
  • Transparent ballpoint pen
  • Passport size photograph, besides the one to be pasted on the DU JAT admit card. A photograph will be pasted on the attendance sheet
  • Personal hand sanitisers in a transparent bottle of not more than 50 ml
  • Personal water bottle (transparent)
  • Government-approved valid ID Proof
  • Sugar tablets/fruits in case the candidate is diabetic

After the release of the information bulletin, candidates are now eyeing the release of important dates related to DU JAT exam. NTA will soon release the DU JAT 2021 dates.
