- Deadline: Schools must ensure that the completed applications reach CBSE by December 31, 2024.
- Approval Notification: CBSE regional offices will notify the schools regarding approval by January 15, 2025.
- Examination Schedule: Once approved, the special examinations will be held within 15 days of the original exam dates.

- The CBSE special exam 2025 policy applies solely to the main theory exams. Practical exams, supplementary tests, and training camps are not eligible for rescheduling.
- Students must ensure that certificates are verified by nodal officers and uploaded online for official reference.
