 According to the official CBSE Date Sheet 2023, CBSE Class 10, 12 Board exams commenced on February 15. Students must note that CBSE 10th, 12th admit card 2023 is an important document and no student will be allowed to appear for exams without admit card.

CBSE Board Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced the 10th, 12th exams 2023 from Wednesday, February 15. More than 38 lakh (38,83,710) students registered to appear for CBSE Class 10, 12 exams this year. According to CBSE, over 21 lakh (21,86,940) students applied to appear for CBSE Class 10 exam while 16.96 lakh (16,96,770) students for Class 12 exam.

Sending best wishes to the students, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan asked the exam warriors to celebrate the festival of exams. The minister through his official Twitter account said, “best wishes to all the Exam Warriors appearing for the CBSE class 10th and 12th board exams. Leave all worries and celebrate the festival of exams. Be confident, give your best.” The minister also advised the students to revisit PM Narendra Modi’s masterclass to beat exam stress.

“The Class 10 exam will be conducted for 16 days and will be over on March 21, while Class 12 exam will be conducted for 36 days and will be over on April 5,” CBSE release read. Apart from exams in India, the CBSE 10th, 12th exams will be held in 26 countries abroad.

CBSE guidelines against cheating during exams

CBSE has issued a set of board exam guidelines to avoid use of unfair means. Board has prohibited the use of Artificial Intelligence-based ChatGPT. During the CBSE board exams, students are not allowed to carry any electronic devices inside the exam center.

CBSE instructions released ahead of Board Exams 2023 mentioned, ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is designed to generate human-like articles based on the given input. Mobile, ChatGPT, and other electronic items will not be allowed in the examination hall.
