Demands to conduct JEE after CBSE Board Exams started flowing all over social media soon after the release of CBSE Board Exams 2023 Datesheet.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CBSE Board Exam 2023 Date Sheet on its official website, i.e. cbse.gov.in on December 29, 2022. According to the schedule, CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2023 will be conducted from February 15 to April 5, 2023. Meanwhile, CBSE practical exams will be held from January 2, 2023 to February 14,
However, JEE Main Session 1 will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, while JEE Main Session 2 is scheduled to be conducted on April 06, 08, 10, 11, and 12.
Stating that JEE Mains 2023 Dates clashes with CBSE Practical Exams 2023, students are urging authorities to revised the dates and postpone JEE Mains 2023 after CBSE Board Exams.
CBSE Datesheet 2023 prepared to avoid clashes with other exams
While releasing CBSE Time Table 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education stated that the board has prepared the CBSE board date sheet 2023 considering the sufficient gap between two subjects that are offered to a student in both the classes as well as competitive examinations including JEE Main 2023. CBSE also stated in its release stated that Class 12 CBSE date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 40,000 subject combinations to ensure that no two subjects examinations of a student fall on the same date.

Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court has adjourned the case on the plea seeking postponement of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023. The next hearing has been scheduled for January 10, 2023.
The matter was heard by the bench comprising the Acting Chief Justice of Bombay HC SV Gangarpurwala and Justice Sandeep V Marne. The Bombay High Court has given the petitioner more time to file the brochure for the JEE Main 2023 exam on record. Apart from rescheduling JEE Main 2023 first session, the public interest litigation (PIL) has also requested the National testing Agency (NTA) to remove the 75 per cent eligibility criterion
