Jharkhand Board Exams 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the timetable for Class 8th and Class 9th exams 2025. The Class 8th exam will begin on January 28, 2025, while the Class 9th exams will commence a day later, on January 29, 2025. Exam Timing and Shift Details for JAC Class 8th and 9th
Both the Class 8th and Class 9th exams will be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm, followed by the second shift from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. This schedule allows ample time for students to prepare for each subject. Candidates must ensure they arrive at the exam center well in advance to avoid any last-minute stress.
JAC Class 8th Exam Timetable and Subjects
The JAC Class 8th exams will begin on January 28, 2025, with two main papers:
- Paper 1: Hindi, English, and Additional Language Subjects
- Paper 2: Mathematics, Social Science, and Science
As per the exam format, each subject will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 50 marks, and there will be an internal evaluation component worth 100 marks that will be conducted at the school level.
JAC Class 9th Exam 2025 Timetable and Subjects
The JAC Class 9th exams will begin on January 29, 2025, and will follow a similar structure to the Class 8th exams:
- Paper 1: Hindi A, Hindi B, English
- Paper 2: Mathematics, Science
- Paper 3: Social Science and Other Languages (if any) – January 30, 2025
Just like the Class 8th exam, Class 9th students will have exams in two shifts and must be present at their respective centers at least 30 minutes before the start of their shift.
JAC Class 9th Exams 2025 Admit Card
The JAC Class 9th admit card will be available for download through the official Jharkhand Academic Council website. All students must carry their admit cards to the exam center to gain entry. Failure to do so may result in last-minute inconveniences.
OMR Sheets for JAC Class 8th Exams
For the Class 8th exams, the Department of School Education and Literacy in Jharkhand will use OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets for exam evaluation. Students are advised to mark their answers carefully to ensure correct evaluation.
