Candidates who already appeared for JNV Selection Test (JNVST) cannot appear for the test. Students who have already passed or studied in Class 5 prior to the academic year 2023-24 cannot apply. 

JNV Class 6 Admission 2024: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has commenced the admission application process for Class 6 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). Guardians and parents of eligible candidates can apply at the official website of NVS, i.e. navodaya.gov.in. They must note that the registration window is open until August 10.

According to the schedule, the selection test will be conducted on November 4 at 11:30 am for the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II, Samba and Udhampur), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and districts of Dibang valley and Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in districts of Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, in the district of Darjeeling of West Bengal, and Leh and Kargil districts of UT Ladakh.

At the rest of the places, the JNVST selection test for Class 6 admission will be conducted on January 20, 2024, at 11:30 am. There is no registration fee for admission.

Candidates who already appeared for JNV Selection Test (JNVST) cannot appear for the test. Students who have already passed or studied in Class 5 prior to the academic year 2023-24 cannot apply. The candidate should have been born after May 1, 2012, and before July 31, 2014 (both dates inclusive). This is applicable to students of all categories.

How to apply for JNV Class 6 Admission 2024?

Step 1: Go to the official website, i.e. navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on the registration link.

Step 3: In the input field, enter basic details such as if the student is studying in Class 5, have they applied earlier or not among others.

Step 4: Once registered, fill the application form, upload the necessary documents.

Step 5: Verify the details. Save and submit the application form.

Step 6: Download the application form for future reference.
