KVS Class 1 Admission 2024 Begins: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is all set to commence the Class 1 admission registration process from April 1 for the academic year 2024-25. Parents/guardians seeking KVS admission for their children in Class 1 are required to submit their application on the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in. Parents should keep documents including birth certificate, caste certificate, PwD certificate, photograph of the child, proof of residence, and income certificate handy before filling the application form.
Meanwhile, the complete schedule will be announced soon. KVS has launched a testing portal exclusively for admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas all over India.
KVS has also informed parents that the kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in is a testing portal and the registration on this website will not be considered valid. However, it is expected to issue detailed notifications on how and where to apply. There are a total of 1,254 KV schools
KVS Class 1 Admission 2024: Age limit
According to the instructions made available on the registration portal, the age limit for KV Class 1 admission is 6 years as on March 31. As per the minimum and maximum age limit set for admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas, children born on April 1 will also be considered. The maximum age limit for children applying for Class 1 is 8 years.
Preference
Preference in KVS admission 2024 will be given to children of serving employees, grandchildren of serving employees and children and grandchildren of retired employees in that order. It will also be based on the number of transfers of the parents in the last 7 years.
