IIM Bangalore And IIT Madras Jointly Offer 10-Month Certificate Programme

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM B) and Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT M) have collaborated for a certificate course in technology and management for working professionals.

The 10-month certificate course covers most of the core syllabus taught in the general MBA programme with emphasis on training the updating the skills of participants (with two to five years of experience) with the latest development in technology and management.

"While the programme is not a substitute for an MBA or a BTech, it covers most of the core courses covered in a general MBA programme. It is aimed at giving young students and working professionals with two-five years of experience an understanding of the recent developments in technology and management. It will be useful for those unable to take two years off for a regular in-campus programme," said PD Jose, programme director, IIM Bangalore.

The programme is designed for working professionals with two to five years of experience. It has been designed as a short duration course keeping in mind inability of most of working professionals to join a full-time course of long duration.

The 10-month programme comprises 10 courses in management and engineering along with 12 campus-connect sessions in each institute over three modules, delivered by the faculty. On successful completion of the programme, students will receive a certificate.

Any Graduate with at least 2 years of work experience can pursue Certificate in Technology and Management and is also open to IIM Bangalore and IIT Madras students.

The course curriculum will include the following topics:

Introduction to Machine Learning
