IIM Calcutta PhD Admission 2024 Registration Starts, Know Who Can Apply Here

IIM Calcutta PhD Admission 2024: IIM Calcutta has started the registration for PhD Programme in Management. Candidates can apply online at iimcal.ac.in till January 30, 2024 for admission to PhD programmes. 

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released the application form for admission to PhD Programme in Management online. Eligible candidates can fill in their IIM Calcutta PhD application at the official website: iimcal.ac.in. The last date for registration is January 30, 2024. 

They must keep in mind that they can apply for a maximum of two specialisations. They must have appeared for Common Admission Test (CAT) in 2023 or an alternative test specified for selected specialisations. 

Also, without payment of fees, the application for PhD admission will not be considered complete. Those belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD categories have to pay Rs. 1000. For all other applicants, the application fee is Rs. 2000.

Who are eligible for IIM Calcutta PhD Admission 2024? 

IIM Calcutta has prescribed the eligibility for admission to its doctoral programmes. Candidates must be aware of the fact that, if selected, then they will be granted provisional admission. They must complete degree by June 30, 2024. Submission of final year degree mark sheets must be done by December 31, 2024. They can check below the points to know the eligibility requirement for PhD admission 2024: 

• They must have a first-class Master's degree or a postgraduate diploma (2 years) in any discipline, along with a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate
• For CA, a minimum of 50% marks is required, while for Company Secretary (CS)/Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a minimum of 55% marks is needed, along with a BCom degree
• The BTech/4-year degree candidates must have a CGPA of 6.5 or its equivalent for admission
• Non-engineering candidates with 10+2+5 years of education are eligible. CMA (USA) candidates can also apply
• They must have a minimum of 50% marks in either the Secondary or the Higher Secondary Examination of a board (or equivalent)
• Final-year candidates appearing for the bachelor's or master's degree examination can apply
