IIM Kozhikode launches 12-month CTO Programme to Advance Technology Leadership
This 12-month course is designed to equip senior leaders with essential skills in technology strategy and digital transformation. Supported by online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education, the programme aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), in collaboration with Emeritus, has launched an advanced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) programme. This 12-month course is designed to equip senior leaders with essential skills in technology strategy and digital transformation. Supported by online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education, the programme aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience.
Programme Highlights and Structure
The CTO programme includes a mix of live online sessions conducted by IIMK faculty, masterclasses from industry experts, and a three-day campus immersion at IIM Kozhikode. Participants will engage in business simulations, a capstone project, and gain real-world insights into disruptive technology strategies, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and the distinct roles of CTO, CIO, and CDO.
Participants will complete two online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education: ‘AI Applications for Growth’ and ‘Leading Growth Strategy’. These courses are designed to enhance participants' global perspective and expertise, adding significant value to their learning journey.
Eligibility Criteria and Programme Benefits
The programme is tailored for senior leaders with over 10 years of experience, including aspiring and current CTOs, CIOs, as well as entrepreneurs and executives. It aims to provide the skills necessary to navigate technological changes, drive digital transformation, and secure a competitive edge in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.

Application Details and Certification
Applications for the CTO programme will open on September 30, 2024. The course fee is INR 6,55,000 + GST. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate from IIM Kozhikode and gain Executive Alumni status. Additionally, each online module completed with a minimum grade of 80% will earn a verified digital certificate from Kellogg Executive Education.
