IIM Sambalpur conducts CEO Immersion Programme

Executive MBA, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur, conducted CEO Immersion Programme during January end. IIM Sambalpur’s CEO Immersion Programme hosted eminent corporate executives. The list of the industry’s top experts such as Kailash Pandey, President and Cluster Head, Hindalco Industries Ltd; Rohit Pathak, CEO, Hindalco Industries Ltd; Nilesh Koul, Business Head & Senior President, Hindalco Industries Ltd; Rajaram Pai, Chief Business Officer-Industrial, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd; Dr Amitabh Verma, Ex-CEO, President Operations & Technology, Aditya Birla Renewables Ltd; and Gobinda Pal, Deputy CEO (Alumina Business), Vedanta Ltd, who discussed the strategies for leading today’s VUCA- Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous, Environment.

They also touched upon the transformation that green metals and hydrogen have brought to the business ecosystem.
IIM Sambalpur launched their first Executive MBA degree program for working professionals in an event held in blended mode on March 19, 2021. Present on the occasion were Chief Guest AP Panda, CMD, SECL, Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur, students, alumni, faculties, and staff of IIM Sambalpur and media journalists. The inaugural program also witnessed a discussion on ‘Emerging Industry needs and competency’ where industry leaders Sandeep Chatterjee, Associate Director, Deloitte, Dr Kiranmai Dutt Pendyala, Head HR, Western Digital India, Uma Rao, Vice President HR, Ashok Leyland and Ranchandra Rao, Executive VP, YES Bank expressed their thoughts and views on the topic.
