CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Result 2021-22 (Out): Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Result 2021-22 on Saturday evening, March 19, 2022. The term 1 result for the class 12 exam has been declared in offline mode and the schools can now access the result and show it to class 12 students. Students can check their results from their respective schools.

CBSE has already declared the result for the class 10 term 1 exam on March 11, 2022. Rather than releasing results online on the official website, the board has decided to declare result in offline mode. The board has mailed CBSE term 1 results to the individual schools on the registered CBSE Shiksha email IDs. Over the last few weeks, there have been multiple speculations over the CBSE result declaration date which is now ended.

CBSE Class 12 Term 1 Result 2021-22: Weightage Criteria
To understand the basic weightage criteria, the students need to go through all the statements made by CBSE officials. As of now, the board has not defined the actual weightage criteria. At the onset, the board has hinted that both term exams may have equal weightage criteria. However, after releasing the CBSE class 10 term 1 result, the board officials did not confirm both term exams have equal weightage criteria.
Following CBSE class 10 term 1 result 2022, the CBSE had released a CBSE circular on March 11 that stated ‘weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 will be decided at the time of the declaration of Term 2 result and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated.’
Based on previous statements made by the CBSE officials, it is quite possible that the CBSE might give 50 per cent weightage to both term exam results or give more weightage to Term 2 result marks. However, it is expected that the CBSE class 12 final result will be calculated after the term 2 results. The board will soon release a notice for class 12 weightage criteria on its website.
The students must note that after the final result would mention toppers, merit lists, pass and fail status of students.

- CBSE class 12 term 1 result only carries marks obtained by the students in the exam.
- CBSE will determine the final weightage criteria after the term 2 exams.
- Based on final weightage criteria, CBSE will decide pass, fail and compartment status
- The board will release the final marksheet after the term 2 result declaration
- CBSE would give marks based on term 2 exam performance to those students who have not participated in the term 1 exam
- The board will do moderation, grace marks policy and normalization of the scores after the final result
