Anna University Admissions 2021: Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai - 600 025 commenced the admission application process for admission to PhD Programme (Full-time and Part-time) for July 2021 session. Candidates interested in Anna University Admissions 2021 must note that applications are to be submitted online at https://cfr.annauniv.edu with the approval of the supervisor, latest by 5:30 pm on March 20, 2021.

In order to apply for the course, the applicant must have a Master’s Degree of the University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55% or CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale in the qualifying examination (50% or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10-point scale for SC/ST/ differently-abled candidates) in the fields of study notified from time to time by the University.

Anna University Admissions 2021: Specific Educational Qualification

Candidates can check the specific educational qualification required for PhD Degree admission in each discipline are as follows:

• For Management Sciences, candidates must have MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management or Administration awarded by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) / MS (By Research) in Management Sciences
• Candidates planning to take admission in Architecture and Planning must have MArch/MPlan / MS(By Research) in Architecture and Planning
• For Engineering/ Technology, candidates must have ME/MTech/MS (By Research) in the relevant branch of Engineering or Technology
• For Science and Humanities, a degree in MSc / MS (By Research) in the relevant branch of Science and Humanities / MCA/ MA (English/ Communication/ Mass Communication/ Journalism/ Media Arts) is required.
