Anna University has released the CEETA PG 2025 application TODAY (January 24) on its official website. Candidates can visit the official page to apply for MTech admission in various disciplines. The last date to register is February 21, 2025.

CEETA PG 2025 APPLICATION FORM

CEETA PG 2025 Application Form: Registrations for CEETA PG 2025 are now available. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online. The last date to submit the application form is February 21, 2025. Anna University will conduct the CEETA PG 2025 exam on March 23, 2025 (10 am to 12:00 pm) in a single session. 

Admissions to CEETA PG 2025 will be based on the marks obtained in the CEETA PG entrance test, followed by counselling and document verification process. The fee for CEETA PG 2025 application form is INR 1500/- +  GST on the counselling fee of Rs.500/- for general candidates. For reserved category: Rs.750/- + GST on Counselling fee of Rs.250/-. Admissions to MTech/MPlan/MArch/M.E is offered at 

  • University Departments of Anna University
  • Anna University Regional Campuses / Constituent Colleges.
  • Annamalai University
  • Government Engineering Colleges. 

Steps to Apply for CEETA PG 2025 Application Form

The step-by-step process to apply for the CEETA PG registration form is as follows -

  • Visit the official website of CEETA - https://tancet.annauniv.edu/
  • Click on the application form link
  • Register and fill out the personal, educational qualification, and communication details
  • Upload the required documents
  • Pay the application fees and submit the CEETA PG application form.

The mode of CEETA PG application fee payment is online through netbanking/credit card/debit card/UPI. To apply for CEETA PG 2025 admissions, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognised institute or university with a minimum qualifying mark of 50% (for general category candidates) and 45% (for reserved category candidates).

Q:   Is Class 12 marks enough for Anna University admission?

A:

For Anna University undergraduate courses, the minimum eligibility requirement is to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates). However, Class 12 marks is not enough to apply for Anna University UG courses such as BE/ BTech. For Anna University BTech admission, candidates are also required to appear for TNEA counselling process. Basis of which Anna University will allocate the seats for BTech admission. For TNEA counselling, the University will consider the Class 12 marks. For Anna University PG admission, the minimum eligibility requirement is to have a graduation degree from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Q:   Where can I get admission after qualifying for CEETA PG?

A:

Candidates, after qualifying for CEETA PG, can get admission in the following universities and institutes -

  • University Departments of Anna University, Chennai-25, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering. 

  • Annamalai University and 

  • Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges 

  • Technical Institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated with Anna University

  • Candidates can also apply to the self-financing engineering colleges

Q:   Is JEE marks required for Anna University BTech admission?

A:

Yes, the university does accepts JEE Marks for admission to BTech courses. Admission into BTech courses at Anna University-affiliated colleges, several entrance examinations are accepted, including JEE Main, AEEE, IMU CET, and TNEA Counselling. Hence, candidates who have secured a decent scores in any one of these entrance examination are allowed to apply for BTech course at university, and students who qualify the cutoff list/ merit list can get a seat in the programme.
