Manipal University Jaipur extends MoU with International Skill Development Corporation

The agreement will enable Manipal University Jaipur to offer US CMA qualification, a professional qualification in finance, along with its undergraduate commerce degrees.  

Manipal University Jaipur has extended its partnership with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deliver US CMA (IMA) qualification, a professional qualification in finance. 

ISDC is the UK-headquartered skill development and education company serving organisations worldwide, while CMA is a globally recognised management accounting credential offered by IMA (Institute of Management Accountants), US, and has been the global benchmark for management accountants and finance professionals. 

Partnership to help students resolve global industry-centric issues 

The US CMA professional qualification consists of two-part examination with 12 competencies, including financial planning, performance, analytics and strategic financial management, and will equip the students with skill sets and expertise that can help them find, evaluate and resolve the global industry-centric issues.  

The partnership will also help the students in getting access to in-depth understanding of industry-oriented finance and analytic tools, strategies and management at an international level through intensive training sessions and webinars. 

The MoU was signed by Nitu Bhatnagar, Registrar, Manipal University Jaipur, and Shone Babu, head of partnerships, ISDC. The MoU will enable Manipal University Jaipur to offer US CMA qualification along with its undergraduate commerce degrees. ISDC has been working with Manipal University Jaipur Campus for number of programmes since 2016. 

Nitu Bhatnagar, Registrar, Manipal University, Jaipur said, “We are happy and optimistic about our partnership with ISDC to provide US CMA qualification to our students. Through this globally recognised qualification, our students will be benefitted by strengthening their skill and knowledge in the finance and accounting arena.
